The thing is, it's not an over-reaction based on yesterday's game. It's a reaction based on the past two years of utter tripe that we've paid to watch. Yesterday's game was no different. It warns of another season languishing near the foot of the table.

I will say one thing though. He was clear that Hurrell wasn’t well before the game and had problems, and asked to be pulled out. This was refused, and Hurrell wasn’t happy after the game with what ended up.

Wane should have been our coach last year. No doubt about it. Sinfield totally to blame for Agar appointment. I love Kev to bits for what hes done for us as a player but hes got it wrong on this one

I am not sure he is totally responsible, not even sure he is responsible at all. It is after all Hetheringtons family, so it would be a bit coincidental for Sinfield to push it.

Either way, I made comment above about a key player, and on the coaching front I heard nothing negative from him.

Things will always be challenging is results on the field are not going according to plan. Players - they have a lot of self-belief to play at this level - will look to deflect blame wherever possible. The body language on the field on Friday was not good - they didn't seem to want to play for each other. If the coach has favourites and isn't seen to even-handed then that will not help. Agar has never been a successful coach could you honestly see Saints/Wigan or any other SL team having him as the head coach given his previous record. The coach needs to be the leader and create the strategy and then provide the squad with the tools to deliver the strategy and there needs to be a consequence to players not delivering - I bet the weekly reviews under Murray were very different to those under Agar!!

When he first took the job as temporary coach until a new permanent coach could be appointed. He intimated that he didn't want the job permanently . I wonder what changed ? Ok relegation was avoided ,but he wasnt that inspirational go warrant the club go want him above anyone else

Frankly and without malice, Agar can only do so much with your playing roster, a golden age of players reached retirement almost simultaneously, Harry Houdini would struggle to replace past quality like this. It will be a long process of recruiting, patience, and understanding from the Leeds supporters before those heady days return.

He had to say he didnt want it. If he had said he wanted it and didnt get it would have made him look a fool and make it look like he had been overlooked.

He always watned the job. Hes a coach at the end of the day. If you are a coach and you dobt want the Leeds job what the hell are you a coach for?

Whether he wanted it then or not is irrellevant he & the 1st Team Coaching set up arent good enough

I think JJB is a great person and probably good for dressing room morale when he was playing, but an important role like assistant coach ?

He was a major part of the unrest start of last season to get Furner out. Whether that was right reasons or wrong, not for me to say, but I would seriously question him good for morale.

all to much of a clique for me. jobs for the boys, nice coach who does what he is told.

Its quite telling how this jobs for the boys thing coincides so much with our downfall over the last few seasons. Far too much putting selves above side going on. Made even worse with JJB appointment is him having his tag along with him for entertainment now in Simmons. An awful presenter and not entertaining in the least, but comes as a partnership with JJB.

Getting Furner out was the right thing to do. We would have got relegated with him in charge still I'm sure of it. Many of the players didnt like him.
