Think what you like but lets be completely serious for a minute.
How can a country so geographically close to gourmet experts like France and Italy sustain itself with a national cuisine of such utter, utter garbage???
Lets have a look at Englands 'signature' dish. It's the eloquently named 'Full English'
1.Fatty bacon.
2.Egg fried in grease.
3.Baked beans in tomato sauce.
4.A slice of bread fried in oil.
5.Mushrooms boiled in butter.
6. Black pudding (pigs blood and congealed fat in a sausage shape) FRIED in yet more grease
7 Sausage (A mix of pig guts, rusk and gluten stuffed into an artificial skin....and then fried. In yet more grease)
Other tasty pommie foods include Devilled Kidneys, Kippers (traditionally eaten for BREKKY) and a small piece of Cod, coated in a large piece of batter, FRIED yet again and traditionally served in an old copy of the Daily Star with heaps of soggy chips covered in vinegar and salt.
Its little wonder that the rest of the world bags out pommie food

Thats because she is an Aussie
Conversation went something like this:
Me: Why did you leave all that sun, sea and sand.
Her: I wanted to broaden my outlook on life, you can't do that in oz - people don't want to talk to you they just want to talk about themselves. I don't know which is bigger an aussie blokes mouth or his ego
Me: You must have been talking to Dally and Barry

Get serious you say? There isn't one person on this website who takes you seriously. Lets face it posting drivel like this just shows your immaturity and lack of knowledge - you are becoming embarrassing.
PS how do the French make foie gras and what do Italians put into salami?

Can you not just look it up on google???
This is a footy forum
Barry McKenzie may be the 'Dalai Lama' of all things RL but he doesnt really know the ins and outs of foie gras production or the constitution of Italian Salami.
All I really know about that is that 'foie gras' is actually French for 'Fat Liver' and it's produced by force feeding geese.
As for what goes into Italian Salami? Not sure....again you would probably be better off googling it. I would think it was probably on par with the british sausage in terms of healthy eating.
A friend of mine is from Poland and she tells me horse meat is commonly used in salami in eastern Europe.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
Barrington.
