| Ellery Hanley for Bradford Northern, handing off tackles for fun whilst racing down the touchline (against Featherstone I think).
Phil Ford against the Aussies - "He's a stepper Ford!"
Offiah at Wembley for Wigan, rounding Alan Tait to run in from 80 metres.

Do you mean Adelaide Rams? The southstand erupted for that one! In that game Damian Gibson scored a great try off a Iestyn Harris kick straight from the base of the scrum.

| Alan Hardisty for Cas in the 1969 CC Final
the finish was very straightforward- but Mal Reilly did all the work , sheer brute strength throwing Jackie Brennan over his own head as the Salford scrum jumped on his back to try and stop him and then galloping into the salford 25 ( as it was then) and a one handed pass in traffic that any half back would dream about -
a work of art - find it and enjoy

| Thought Schofields v Aussies at Brisbane took some beating.
Steve Hartley's at Widnes in the JP Trophy was the best KR one I remember

| For Leeds:
Ali Lauiti'iti somehow grounding the ball in the corner at Headingley against Wigan (2004?).
Wayne McDonald's full-lengther against St Helens
Brent Webb in the 2007 Grand Final
Paul Sterling against Adelaide Rams

| I'll add to bramleyrhino's list with one Paul Medley scored in a game at Central Park where he collected the ball on his own line from a kick-off and went full length to score. Bit like the Hanley effort for Bradford against Featherstone at Headingley.

| Some of the best that I can remember.
Tony Sullivan against Wigan in the play offs the week after the wide to west try. Wing play doesn't get much better than that.
I remember Anthony Mundine ran around David Peachey of SG against Cronulla. Can't remember the exact year but it was a belter.
Gasniers try in the Centenary international against NZ.

| The Mike Gregory try is a cracker.
At club level Wakefield's Andy Fletcher's try that got us to Wembley in the 70s. Topliss to Smith to Fletcher. Best game I've ever attended capped with the best try.

| Shouldn't really argue with the Joynt try, in context it's still the best try.
But Greg going 80 meters in Australia, scoring 'that try' and Kevin Penny's 100 yard effort at Knowsley Road in the CC in 2008, moment of inspiration to pass behind your own line and a thrilling run

| Given that it won the game; was in the final minute; went through many pairs of hands; was scored from 80 yards out; was in a play off game etc etc ............. Chris Joynt's try against Bradford takes some beating.

The handling and pace for some of those tries is superb. With respect to our current outside backs, I don't think we'll see England score a long range try against Australia or NZ like that for years.

oh get your tongue out of their backsides
if sam burgess can glide through the australians from the halfway line and then sidestep the "best fullback in the world" as he did in the 4nations final then i'm sure our outside backs could given the chance....
