It's nothing to do with that. I'm saying if Tansey had been banned it would have given Salford more of a sense of injustice about the size of the fine. Furthermore i think it was used as small consolation to Cas for the points not being reversed.

At the end of the day Bradford coaching staff let one of their players take to the pitch before one of there other players injured or not came off, what if the injured player suddenly regained his whits and made a tackle? The fine against Salford was for letting an extra player take to the field before the player leaving the field came off. Bradford did the same and should also be fined simple. Lets hope Omar Khan has sold enough currys to cover the £10k fine at.

Correct. However the severity of salfords fine is because the extra Salford player took part in three tackles. The Bradford player was walking off in back play and had no influence on match. You even scored while he was walking off so there was no disadvantage to Salford. Bradford will get a slap on wrist or a small fine at worst. It's the same offence but the size of the fine is determined by the circumstances. It isn't a fixed 10k fine.

I believe the rules state that a team shall have a maximum of 13 PLAYERS in the pitch NOT that there should only be 13 members of the playing staff on the pitch. Common sense (and IMHO an interpretation of the rules) would dictate that Salford had 14 players (actively involved in the game) on the pitch whereas Bradford only had 13. result = Salford broke the rules, bradford didnt. As for getting money back for only having 12.....rules stat MAXIMUM is 13.

Come on, that's clutching at straws, they had 14 on the pitch whatever you want to call them. Should be a smaller fine, as operational rule breach, but with lesser potential significance. There's the consistency and we all move on.

Leeds had 14 men on the pitch in the CC vs Hudds. I think Bails came on whilst Delaney was being helped from the pitch and the people helping Delaney across the pitch had the audacity to cut a corner whilst play was going on. Disgusting. Obviously Leeds haven't received a fine cos they own the RFL.
