I’m looking forward to it, 10 of us going down for the week-end, it’ll be my first final at the new Wembley. With no clear favourite, both Wire and Giant fans quite rightly feel they’ve a good chance of winning it, neutrals can quite easily jump onto the Lanc’s/Yorks band wagon, hopefully this should lead to a great atmosphere.

i rang the rfl booking my third set of tickets yesterday, spoke to the geezer there who was top notch in helping me out of a pickle, he reckons they're expecting about 80k attendance.

I think you have mistaken us for Leeds, understandable given our position in the league though.

Strange really considering the experts all give us a lot of credit for our defence. A lot of this is down to our excellent fitness levels.

Our line speed when we're on our game is absolutely outstanding. It's no surprise the less cerebral spectator could get confused and consider us offside more frequently than others. Equally, because we invariably win the collision and are so dominant in the tackle we again see the less well informed supporter not understanding and thus throwing accusations.

It's a shame that people who know so little of the rules see fit to shout so loudly. Better to learn the rules first.

I'm taking my Dad, it'll be his first time at the new Wembley, we won't be true neutrals though, my Grandma (his mum) was from Warrington so we'll nudge that way.

I think there is a fair bit of interest from neutrals as it is the first time in a long time that one one of the more traditional big clubs of recent years have not contested the final. Both clubs can only benefit from the exposure which is good for RL.
Myself and about 10 others will be supporting Huddersfield, sporting claret and gold Cheerleading outfits.

I'm neutral apart from being a Yorkshire man, but I like the idea of having two different teams in the final.
I'll be there, probably choosing to support Huddersfield but if it's a good game and Warrington win, I'll be happy with that too.

I won't be watching it this year. I'll be at Leeds festival; but even if I wasn't can't say I'd be too bothered if I missed it. Not that I don't think it'll be an intense game, just isn't all that interesting.

I'm a neutral, and still haven't decided if I'm going yet. I have been to last 7 finals but for some reason I can't get myself excited about this one..... YET!!

What woulde make it interesting for you? If it is a case of not being interested in a game because your team aren't in it, then fair enough, I can understand that attitude, however I'd say for a RL fan, this is a far more interesting final than many over the past few years.

Wire haven't won the CC for 35 years, and Hudds for 56 years, surely that, and the fact that the game should be a cracker makes it interesting?

i know my team are in it this year, but to me its the best final for years , usually the games between us and wire are crackers, as for not been interested when your own team isnt in it, i must disagree even though i havent been every year to the final, i still make sure i watch it whoevers playing.

Even as a Wigan fan our 80s/90s dominance eventually got a bit dull, as has the more recent usual Saints/Leeds trophy-fest. Unless it's two even sides in the final it's not worth getting excited about.

Can't wait. I'll be cheering Hudds - plenty of ex-Wigan lads, and a club I've always wanted to do well, and of course they're playing Wire. I've said for the past few years that if Hudds ever 'clicked' they'd be a force - on their day they could bully most sides but didn't have that spark or cohesion.
