Why should geographical location matter if a team is well enough supported?


There's been pro RL for nearly 30 years and they still get by far the lowest SL crowds so it's a lie that crowds in a big place will grow in 10-20 years time, they if anything dorp off over time. Also how will they pay the wages for those 10-20 years of tiny crowds?


Crusaders are far worse than any other team, and only them and Harlequins have truly tiny crowds most heartland clubs have at least double their crowds. Catalans have done well but they were a success before they joined, they weren't let in as a charity like Crusaders were

not only is soccer particularly popular, leeds utd are particularly popular, they are one of the biggest clubs, in the biggest competition pyramid, in the biggest sport in the world,

they get larger attendances than many clubs in the biggest sporting competition in the world, watched on a regular basis by more people than any other league in the world

clubs, in any sport, outside of maybe the NFL, would likely be happy to have the attendances leeds utd have despite them being in the third tier
