Orford is quality and to be fair from what I've seen the other three are good signings.

L'Estarange is average, very average. Another Michael Sullivan who was at Warrington. How many games as Kearney played ? i think even the NRL fanatics have struggled see Kearney play for over 3 years.

Why is it worrying?

In an active career of about 12-16 year, if your going to travel to teh other side of the world to live / settle you would only want to do that once.

Other than playing for his country he has nothing left to achieve in Australia. Coming to a different culture and lliving experiance is the obvious thing to do at this stage of his career.

Of course, I doubt many slated Adrian Morley for grabbing onto the SL final pay day train as you put it

Kearney has been very unlucky with injuries but if you ask anyone who's watched him when fit he is a quality player.

Someone who doesn't just put their club blinkers on!

Orford will be one of - if not the- best SH in the league, regardless of age. L'Estrange is a good, fast, young hooker, and Hall is a solid, no nonsense hard hitting forward.


Kearney has some doubters to prove wrong and after his injury record i reckon he'll want to set things straight.

sorry to keep coming back at you in this one but the truth is that he is a quality Full Back... a player who puts is body on the line and loses that battle 90% of the time.... hence his injury record.

play him at full back and keep him protected and you will get tries from him... good ones.

Club blinkers ?

I have no hatred towards the Bradford club. Infact i have loads of respect. What i dont like to see is clubs sign 4 Australians who will add nothing to our competition. Non of them are International standard and Orford even when younger, was nowhere near the Aussie squad.

He won the player of the year in Aus in 2008. As for Australian scrum halfs hes been behind Johns, Kimmorley, Thurston just to name a few, all world class. I think Orford will be a great signing and twice the player Deacon is, so is an improvement. L'Estrange has come in for an injury prone Newton, another improvement. Hall in for injury prone Morrison / Solomona - so i'd say a like for like swap. And the jury is still out on Kearney, apparently can be brilliant when fit but he hasnt had chance to show it due to injuries. But im sure he'll be better than Jeffries at SO or Platt at FB.

The point I was trying to make.




Orford will improve our team immensely, as will the other three imo.
