Quote ="Huddersfield1895"To much one out football from the Giants, but this is the Ian Watson way. The same when he was head coach at the Red Devils.
At times when they should be going for the jugular they just keep playing out their 6 tackles. Risk free football.'"
As a Huddersfield fan i totally agree with this. Cost us the cup final too, handing the ball over on the 6th tackle instead of going for the try that would have killed the game. It's the one element of what Watson has brought to us that i dislike and really want to see changed. In relation to cheating, it really has got out of hand. For me the thing i dislike most is where a player thinks there is even a sniff of a high tackle having been made on them that isn't seen, they will then feign injury to get the game stopped so the video ref has chance to review it and possibly issue a penalty. Really poor, Levi does it for us a lot (he's an amazing player, but needs to stop it) and there are many others on other teams that do likewise. The problem is, how do you penalise a player who says they are injured, how can you rule has or has not caused damage to the player? Very tough area
