Take that silly white band off and it would be much better

There's not much you can do with that colour scheme (why on earth have they persisted with it?) but if you put a terrible design on top of it, it just ends in disaster like that shirt.

I don't really care, as long as the team wins games in them, but both Warrington kits are dreadful. The Cas one that is getting slated on here is better than both of them.

Only the blind, those devoid of taste, Castleford or Hull KR supporters would say that the Cas 2022 kit is better than the Hull FC 2022 kit.

The Hull shirt isn't a bad shirt, it's just not a Hull shirt to me. Same as Wigan's home kit from this season, not a bad one, just not a Wigan one.

Well we've had black shirts with a white V periodically since at least the mid fifties.

Too many sponsors on the front of the shirt for me

Home shirt is decent

In fact, I would like to retract my above statement. Its not the front runner for worst kit of 2022, its actually front runner for worst kit EVER.

I agree, Saints home kit is decent. A move away from the now boring flat vee design we've had recently was much needed and it's very reminiscent of Tonga, which in a World Cup year with our Tongan links is no bad thing.

The away kit I've sat and stared at in disgust now for ten minutes, just trying to figure out how a professional was paid to design that and how someone signed it off and how someone from Saints didn't vomit over it and refuse to let it be produced.Home Bargains will probably withdraw the sponsorship now as the shirt looks too cheap.

Ellgren have linked up with Wigan to reissue retro versions of their 1992/93 kits. They put a few images of other clubs shirts from the era on Twitter too, but didn't confirm if they'd be released or not, so I'm guessing not.

I know the Wigan shirts are obviously the most iconic and they're synonymous with success, but let's be honest, all kits from that era are miles better than the current ones, so every club will sell plenty if they link up with them. I've still got an original of the Wires 1993-95 vertical striped home shirt, but if they were to release an away retro from the same time or the previous red and green hooped one I'd buy it. I have zero interest in the current kits.

Oh, and I know it's supposed to be the team that matters, not the sponsor, and every club needs sponsorship money and should be grateful for whoever provides it etc etc etc.

I get all that. Nevertheless, if I was still of an age that I wanted the new shirt every year, there is not a chance I'd be walking around with Home Bargains written across my chest, or Cash Converters for that matter. Unlucky Saints fans.

Agreed the super leagues premier club running around with Home Bargains on it says everything about Rugby League, I'm not even sure it's an upgrade on the iconic brand Cash converters. Embarrassing.
