The article even if blown out of proportion is very damning. Argyle supposedly has money coming out of his ears but players getting paid late constantly seems really bad. If this does end badly will it be the end of expansions projects that are none uk?

I'm no fan of Toronto, for me its a loony concept, always was, always will be and totally unsustainable. To me, its yet another example of certain high profile RL types feathering their own nests, can't name names but he seems to appear and then disappear from every 'new' club, how he gets away with it I have no idea.

That said I do hope this issue is handled well and that Toronto dies quietly and peacefully rather than in yet another glare of unwanted publicity, sadly I'm not confident of this.

Get shut, like FC said the idea was daft at best hope they aren’t nursed back when it suits. Let the SL play with 11 and next season have no relegation and the championship play as normal for promotion and let’s have a club in SL that’s practical for the rest of the SL and the promoted club

They've made an absolute joke of the restart and the rest of the season. How can we have a legitimate season with less teams than it started with?

They haven’t taken any points off anyone so can’t see a problem with the season, a team as a day off due to 11 teams which must be a blessing if we have to play games every few days.

They have made a difference to the +/- of different clubs though, they have made a difference to the cards and penalties, they have made a difference to injuries pick up against them which impacted squad selection in subsequent games and impacted on those results.

Just because they haven't put any points on the table doesn't mean their participation hasn't impacted on the season

Weren't they due to play Gateshead in sixth round ?

Only my opinion Banjo, I’m listening to what you are saying but the other scenarios don’t come close to having no points taken off teams, I have never agreed to them from the start and would like to see the back of them, again only my opinion

Oh totally, if they'd have taken points from a team, that would make a massive difference.

But suppose 2 teams finish top on equal league points but one finished 20 points ahead of the other, but the team which finished ahead won 30 points from Toronto whereas the team on less +/- didn't play Toronto. Who would be league winners, the team who got the advantage of beating Toronto, or the team who didn't?

Bearing in mind looks likely non super league won't play any fixtures ,nobody progresses from the Gateshead v Toronto fixture,leaving just 7 teams in the last 8..............

Their games have to be expunged.

Similarly, if Golden Point is dropped, the Hull result should be amended.

Agree with you BLM. They should wipe all points off the teams who've already played Toronto to keep league table fair on teams that haven't played them.

If their league doesn't re-start, yes, an issue, but if they do, they would actually have a while longer to return from furlough.

That doesn't change that teams who played them picked up injuries against them which altered squad selection going into the next round.

None of us know if any injuries were experienced by opposing clubs but what we can say for certain is that no club lost points so it makes it much easier for the league to continue unscathed, that’s with the points scenario not the pandemic. I’d like to hear what other clubs owners views are on the situation. I’ll hopefully get DC angle on it later this week

Their super league record should be expunged and the team start 2021 in the Championship which would apply to the majority of the other teams. This would then give the championship clubs a reason to play with the usual play off winner promoted. If this results in the demise of Toronto then so be it because if any of the other 11 were relegated I would like to think they would carry on like Hull KR and Salford did.
