| As a Trinity fan I'm really looking forward to see what Kelepi Tanginoa does with a full pre-season under his belt.

| Quote ="Fishermanscap"Is it obvious? It only seems obvious to Leeds fans who seem utterly desperate to big this player up. On boxing day he huffed and he puffed but didn't really trouble Trinities makeshift backline for much of the game.
On the plus side, he looked fitter than last year but that wouldn't be difficult. All the same, I'm yet to see the entertainment machine you do. I'm reasonably confident that should Johnstone, Tupou, Lyne and BJB be fit when we play you for real Hurrell's impact will be negligible as usual.'"
You really do get your knickers in a twist about Leeds don’t you

Aiden Sezer will cause defenses problems, such a fast runner of the ball he's Quality.
And Matty English is Quality he'll be and England player soon enough, i was hoping we would poach him if you went down.

He will get mullered at the top end of SL until he bulks up and gets experience - very good long term potential though

| Given the sudden departure from the Catalans Dragons of Fijian international centre Brayden Williame the club is in the lookout for a replacement. Latrell Mitchell is unlikely. However the recent signing of former Toulouse centre/winger Gavin Marguerite provides an interesting possibility for the Mediterranean powerhouse. Marguerite is very tall and very fast. So keep Gavin Marguerite on your radar in 2020.

Nobody under the name of Brayden Williams has ever played for Catalans Dragons. Are you referring to Brayden Wiliame?

Based on what? His size? Doesn't seem to stop Regan Grace tearing it up.
Big bulky wingers definitely serve a purpose but players like Ashton, Grace, Marshall can get by just fine without being built like a brick sh*thouse.

i saw him at our shirt launch before xmas, whilst he's not vainikolo he's bigger than i expected and was quite surprised, he'll need to put a bit of muscle on but hopefully not at the detriment of his speed.

Grace has more mobility/strength, so can bust a tackle or 2 - don’t see that with Ashton at the moment, his tries seem to come from gaps and opposition errors, not seen as often in SL
His future success will be down to coaching and conditioning, be surprised if he gets a gig in the first team next season

| At Cas, Danny Richardson will be the unknown quantity.
Is he the latest half-back to leave Saints and go on to be a fantastic player? Or he is over-rated based on one season? What will his partnership with Trueman be like - fresh and explosive or inexperienced and naive?
We know what Watts will bring. We know Eden will be rocks and diamonds. Tyla Hepi might surprise a few if he takes his opportunity,
So for us, I don’t think it’s one player - it’s how well the Richardson/Trueman combination works.

Or he could be a complete flop

Yeah, but that's pretty much par for the course for any player coming through Bradford's junior ranks - other teams are the ones who benefits due to the poor management of the club.

| Lewis Dodd from St Helens.
Easily the most highly rated English product for years. A host of NRL clubs are already trying to sign him after his unprecedented display in Saints recent tour of Australia.

| At Fev I'd suggest the two who might have a higher profile at the end of the season than they have now are James Harrison, who came on in leaps and bounds as last season went on, is still only 23, and was effective either in the middle or at edge back row, and Alec Susino, who was consistently one of Barrow's best players last season, can play huge minutes and probably hasn't yet attracted the attention he deserves.

| Richardson with Trueman could turn out to be a great partnership for us. Or could be a massive bust.
Looking forward to seeing the signing of Tyla Hepi too. He's getting big raps in pre season by all accounts.

| As a Salford fan (and as last year proved) we're really a team unit and we've had a lot of unsung heroes over the past couple of seasons.
As mentioned by another poster I expect Seb I (I'm not even gonna try and spell his name ) to have a big year. A 2017 Dream Teamer at Hudds, our conditioning staff will have him firing and ready to go and I'm hoping for big things.
Pauli Pauli was also a massive impact player when we had him on loan last year and again I reckon he'll be in peak shape to terrorise a few defensive lines this year.
I think Lolohea could have an absolute stormer for us as well. Showed plenty of glimpses last season and with his recent International displays and alongside a fit Kevin Brown we could have one of SL best HB pairings.

You conveniently forget to mention that you have lost your Man of Steel Jackson Hastings, who made your team so successful last year. You cannot possibly hope to recover from his loss with the The Long Neck in his place. I predict that Salford will not make the playoffs, especially with a James Maloney improved Catalans team, and Sonny Bill Williams combining with Richard Leutele at Toronto.
