Nah that principle is right otherwise if you see someone knock-on you can just go and smack em in the head with no punishment.

I’d disagree that it was a high tackle though. I thought the Catalans player was trying to catch the ball and wasn’t attempting a tackle. For me it should have been play on and then Saints should also have been penalised a minute later when they forced Catalans to knock on near their own line. There was a flop on the Catalans player who took the high ball and then got smashed. The tackle was fine (great hit) the Saints player following up was a flop.

I’m the same. Following their shameful performance at Headingley I didn’t really want them to do well. But they’ve played great rugby today and with none (or very little) of the disgraceful stuff. So good luck to em.

The VR decision was a stinker. If we didn't have the referee's guess protocol then he would likely have disallowed it IMO. Thankfully it won't alter the result though.

No arrogance here we got a good battering in the first half, congrats to the Catalans if they play like that in the final then they are going to win silverware.
