Col, he's quoted as saying, in the 'trade press' - not always the most reliable source - that he didn't want to play second fiddle to Clark at Warrington. I wonder how he feels about being behind Mortimer, Hood and Cunningham (the young one that is) at Leigh? |

Kurt Baptiste was released by Canberra because of salary cap problems for 2018. They could get no relief for Joshua Hodgson's ACL injury, so they had to release Baptiste, the PNG international.
In 2019 Canberra will be able to fit Baptiste into their salary cap, so he will return to Canberra while leaving lowly Leigh in the lurch.
This should be a warning to the RFL: don't even consider Leigh for Super League in 2019, because they will no longer have their star player.

If the Raiders have salary cap problems they need to sack the CEO, the board and the coach. They don't have a team [u[iworth[/i[/u salary cap problems, especially with it increasing to 9.4 million next year. |
