Absolutely nothing to suggest Leeds are anywhere near a Champion team. Mid table fodder at the moment but have the personnel to go top 6.

Leigh will probably win 2 home games. The team needs to have the classy Glenn Stewart, Eloi Pelissier and Antoni Maria all playing at the same time if they are to win any more. The coach may not understand that.

Personally, if I was a Leigh fan I'd be much heartened by that performance.

Similarly & IIRC, a stupid offload on 1st/2nd tackle on our own 20 goes to ground & Leeds score next set, get rid of that & send Vea to Sheffield [ior Coventry[/i for the rest of the season & we will be ok !

But if you work on the assumption that Leeds are not top six material this year (they have an aging player base with JJB, Burrow, McGuire, Ablett etc), then it follows that Leigh are challenging for the top 8 and narrowly missing out.

Levy don't get full house crime of the century we have grown season on season since moving to lsv to the point Leigh have 6k home fans paying we took double the Leeds fans to cas last week to boost there crowd ,enjoyed the games great atmosphere inside the ground looking forward to saints next week possible 7k plus crowd on which would mean us pulling in a seasons worth of crowds of the old championship several years ago in two home matches I'm enjoying the ride it's fantastic ,don't let the hatred ruin your love of the game you never know it might you live longer

It's always the same cockwombles whinging though. Don't recall any press releases saying it was a sell out like 1 or 2 of the cockwombles have stated. Not a bad attendance and as you said our crowds have increased year on year for the last few years. That'll do for me.

Probably because it is WCC today and tomorrow and SKY wanted 4 games on TV over the weekend.

Or because the 4 teams involved Thursday and Friday enter the CC earlier than last seasons top 8 (these were Round 11 fixtures I believe

As I said. Too close to call. A team that narrowly avoided relegation against a team that got promoted was always going to be a close game. Did the best team win? Probably not, but a win is a win

It was a Friday night, and with no train service to little Leigh, everyone from Leeds had to contemplate a Friday night traffic jam on the M62. No thanks!

Once again the perils of giving a Super League place to an obscure club that is bloody hard to get to, esp on a Friday night.
