I think as big a factor as any that hits attendances is when fans have already watched the visiting team at home once already in the same season.

Salford crowd didn't look the biggest on Sky. Wakey looked like they brought a few but Sky camera angles made it hard to see the main stand. Still saw beer glasses and other stuff thrown from the stands though when Miller scored for Wakey after half-time. This needs addressing by Salford and is more important than the size of the crowd.

Note : whilst nobody should throw empty plastic pots and its wrong to do so, I see your just instantly happy to blame Salford, no mention of Miller purposefully inciting the crowd by scoring and intentionally throwing the ball at the Salford fans with plenty of force, in fact Childs had to call him over for a word in the end due to the Salford fans uproar.

Maybe the answer is to give us a seven game ban like our players get every time there is an incident. Like there has been no tackles made like Chase's ? I also expect to see Hock get a a seven game ban for pushing the Rovers player over yesterday but alas he's no longer in a Salford shirt so should be fine.
