Genuine question by the way, almost 3,500 posts about a sport you despise and beleive is a joke yet you hate the sport and its supporters so much, doesn't make sense to me?

The RFL usually spin the line that it's always the fault of Australia that international RL isn't top of the agenda and treated seriously, and their Moonie followers swallow it hook, line and sinker.

We were promised dates, venues and ticket arrangements for the Kiwi series in mid-November.

What do we get instead?

Dates, venues and discounted ticket deals for the two domestic competitions, Moonie Weekend and the Moonie Bash.

I'm sure the RFL will get around to arranging their afterthought Kiwi Series eventually.

In the meantime, I urge all Moonies to keep schtum about it, or if they can't maintain the peace, BLAME AUSTRALIA instead for the pitiful state of international RL.

Every now and then, a Self Appointed Defender of the RL Faith appears on these boards. They mistakenly believe it is their mission to hunt down and "out" Union trolls, who in reality only exist in their imagination. They see any form of negative posting about any part of the games administration as "anti-league" and their pea sized brain finds it hard to understand that Rugby League really isn't newsworthy outside of it's M62 Heartland Corridor.
This particular SAD is under the impression that Billy's statistical posts, combined with his perfectly understandable expectation of the RFL to actually do what they say they will is in some way, identifying him as a Union Troll.





The RFL are complete morons. Where Billy is wrong is that they are not running the game.....the game pretty much runs itself. What the RFL are doing is getting in the way.....the recent announcement by Blake "I can't believe I've landed such a cushy number" Solly regarding the potential Saints v Wigan experiment in London is yet another example of the stable door being closed after the Frenchman has eaten the escaped horse.

No doubt my stance will set of alarms at SAD HQ.......purdy will be along shortly!

I've never attended a game of Rugby Union in my entire life, well... apart from 5 minutes back in May when I was sat in the North Stand (upper tier) watching the cricket, there was a break (lunch or tea - I can't recall which) and I needed to take a leak.

Anyone who knows Headingley will also know that involves a journey to the rugby side of the stand and a steep walk down a series of steps in order to reach an available toilet. Leeds Carnegie (or whatever they are called these days) were playing London Irish in a play-off game and I witnessed 5 minutes of it during the cricket interlude. That's the lifetime extent of my Rugby Union patronage, but if it helps Moonie followers to dismiss any critique I may offer regarding the current dire state of RL both domestically and internationally by labelling me a Union fan and a Union troll, then go for it!

Oh, and I once turned down a free ticket to watch the Wallabies V England in Melbourne at Docklands several years ago. That's how much of a fan of Union I am.

Both of you read what you want to read, and when you can't find a suitable retort you go off in a different tangent and then claim said poster wrote something else. Question Gutterfax, how come the OP on the Burgess thread who got himself BT Sport just to watch Burgess even though he dislikes RU so much annoys you to the point you question why somebody would spend their time following a sport they don't like......yet when William spends his time following what happens with SL and England RL, both of which he's dislikes immensely you not only have no problem with but support most of his views and postings???
