London is a great world famous cosmopolitan centre which attracts interest from all corners of the planet. It needs to have its own rugby league team if the game is ever to be taken seriously in the United Kingdom, let alone in the wider world.

It has two RL teams, one day it may be able to sustain one of them in the top flight, and SL may have the money to invest in making it, and a welsh side, succesful. For now though they need to be gone and stop embarrasing SL on and off the field.

London or Hull?

You might be suprised to learn theres a large contingent of London fans who actually agree with you on that, however, we stole NOTHING from Keighley, the RFL/SLE and their mates at Sky TV arranged that!

And rightly so.

You don't have a clue about what goes on in London do you? And what have Hull Kingston Australia brought to Super League other than a load of journey men Aussies? Pot,kettle, black.

London have been to a major final since SL formed, until Cas reaching the CC final this year 5 teams in SL hadn't, they've also finished 2nd in SL, again a position that has eluded 6 of the current SL teams.
They have never gone bust OR cheated their way in SL, one of a very few handful of clubs that can state that..

Nothing from the start is b0llocks, they need to regroup and come back stronger, Rugby League needs a strong London team, not because in the short term it makes much difference, but if we as a sport want to expand in the national consciousness then it IS important

One day I hope SL has the funds to properly expand the SL into London and Wales again but it will take a massive fund and better leadership than we currently have.

Funnily enough, a hull team wasn't a prerequisite for the sky deal that saved the professional game in the UK.......a london one was. Without us the game would be semi - pro......with wigan winning everything

Please remind us of the number of Aussies London had the first few years of SL and the dispensation they had?

We had a dispensation allowing us to have more overseas players than other clubs. There, I've reminded you.

Why are people on hear arguing about the London team, in the past I and my wife have had some good days out watching my team hull KR playing London in all their different names and grounds I for one hope they come back stronger and with better crowds

Lol,if I'd a pound for every time our great game has allegedly been "saved" from imminent disaster I'd be able to fund a London team!

Right now it's because they're relegated. For most of the past fifteen years it was because they occupied a spot that a previously relegated team could have had, had things gone differently. Sometimes their mere existence has kicked it off.

Promotion arguments to come, maybe.
