If Tomkins and O'Loughlin can get in for missing a third or more of the season then Justin Carney is head and shoulders the best winger in this comp'...he was like Billy Boston at times.

For me Houghton and Ratchford unlucky not to be included but overall not a bad dream team! When does NRL dream team come outif it isn't already? Any English boys going to be in that?

As already pointed out justin carney should've got in 21 tries in 19 games in his first year of super league with probably half a dozen at least coming from inside his own half. A devastating player, been a joy to watch him for my team this year, feed the beast and he will score.

Maybe he can learn not to get sent off?

Think the only things that he's done wrong are getting a few bans & not being English this season.

Thought Hardaker has been the best FB in SL by a good marging, but I reckon Tomkins would get in if he missed 26 games and came on as a sub with 5 minutes to go in the last game. Tomkins is a great player, no doubt but he has not been the best FB this season.

O'Loughlin is fortunate to get in as well.

While you can argue about three quarters it is undoubted that several of the names mentioned are class players who have played well when available. That would also apply to all other positions except Smith at scrum half. His own fans continue to slate him on the pie board. Depending on the interpretation of half back suggested by Roy, I would put Robinson, Myler, Chase, Tim Smith, Chase, Dobson, Soward & Ratchford off the top of my head as above him.

How many matches suspended?

Carney missed 8 matches in all (not all through suspension). He was sensational every time I saw him.

And that's less than Tomkins (missed 9) and O'Loughlin (missed 12 of 27 rounds and played just ONCE in SL after the Magic weekend - limping off against HKR)

Suprised that Smith is there and Chase isn't considering the amount of tries he's created on his lonesome.

I think he was probably close but I don't think you can deny that Ferres and Kirmond have both been very, very good for their respective teams this year.

Farrell is not big enough. A statement that led to me getting banned from the Wigan board. He doesn't have the size, pace, power or timing for an international second row. JJB, after weeks out, showed him how to do all those things, far better than Farrell ever could. At the moment he is a tackling machine, though he did manage to get handed off 3 times in 1 play by Hardaker last week. Can anyone imagine him being a threat in attack against Aus/NZ?
