Tricky this one. I would say Bradford players are either performing well or injured at the moment.

There is a small but vocal section of the crowd who [iperceive[/i Langley to be under-performing but this is patently rubbish.

Scruton has not been as good as he can be but has many reasons ( diabetes, wrist surgery last year, shoulder surgery this year) to account for that.

he has been our best prop without question... he is solid in the collision, makes good yards, tackles well and has good hands. Cant really see any weakness in his game in all honesty.

Jamie Rooney at Scorpions and has been released today......perhaps not for purely performance reasons either if allegations coming out of Barrow are true.

Guess most of his career has been a case of could do better.

As a Keighley fan I am pleasantly surprised with our performance so far. There is still a long way to go and as the grounds firm up it will probably be a lot tougher against the best teams.

Can't really say there are any poor performers at Hull right now. There have been plenty of surprises in the form of better than expected performances (Sharp, Turner, Martin, Aspinwall to name a few). I suppose the only player who might be underperforming is Briscoe and that's only because we expect so much from the lad. He's certainly not playing badly.

We might lose a few due to the growing injury list, but it wont be for lack of a committed performance.

The reason for that seems to be that he never passes the ball. Langley's defence has been fantastic this season and he he has been making good yards driving the ball in, however as long as he doesn't pass the ball then certain idiots in the crowd will continue to slate him despite the fact he has contributed as much as anyone in our side this season.

I think the issue fans have with langley is that he is a much better prop than loose.

Well I'd personally prefer to see Langley moved from 13 into either the second row or front row in favour of a more creative loose forward such as Addy or Bateman however Potter prefers his Loose forward to operate much more like an extra prop hence why Kopzcak and Hargreaves both appears there at times last season. I get the impression that the idots (who are only a minority) who constantly slate langley would not care where he played they would still give him the same stick.

After four successive seasons when we would have had any number of contenders for inclusion in a thread like this, it's now difficult to pick out anyone based on 2012 so far.

If I had to pick one, then like spooky, it would be Tom Briscoe. He's not playing particularly badly but he just doesn't seem to be quite firing on all cylinders at the moment for whatever reason.
After being our main/only strike threat during the Agar years, he is now being eclipsed by Jordan Turner and Will Sharp (of all people) both of whom look transformed under Peter Gentle. So relatively speaking Briscoe appears to be a little off the pace compared to the high standards he has set himself in his career so far.

At Wigan I would say our biggest under-performer is probably Amos Roberts. He was by his own admission poor in his first season but his form in early 2010 showed us what he is capable of and before his bad leg injury v Wakefield he was looking a contender for MOS that year. Complications and successive operations on his knee have kept him out of action for the best part of two years but he has now featured in four games for the under 20s and his form thus far on his return has not earned him a squad place for a home game against a club two divisions lower. I hope he can go on to regain something like his form of early 2010 but at this point in time IMO he is performing below the level he is capable of.

Josh perry a few weeks back was annoying the out of me. But hopefully he will kick on now saints are not the worst team in the league.

There are a few at HKR but the main one for me is Dobson, not sure if he's carrying an injury or it's just because we're missing Greeny, but he just isnt firing on all cylinders at the minute.
