| I'd prefer to see the final at Wembley and a double-header to open the tournament. Now that the RFL have decided where games will be held they need to crack on and confirm dates as soon as possible.

Bristol City will probably be at their 28,000 seater new stadium by then. Rovers holds around 14,000 and already stages rugby union. But City are still involved in the marketing and promotion.

Wages in the Championship are far too big and at Bristol City in particular they are just too much."[/i

| It's disappointing to see that London will not host any games - I assume that some sort of bid will have been launched. Surely a game involving either Australia or New Zealand would have been worth playing at The Stoop or one of London's soccer grounds. As it is, it seems rather short-sighted to ignore the capital city.
On the plus side, well done to Bristol for being the only city in England outside the heartlands to get the nod.

| Not all the locations have been announced have they? And the semis haven't been announced so it's quite possible that London will get one of the semis. At least I hope they do as it would be foolish to ignore London, especially after the response from southern people to staging the 4 nations match at Wembley.

| I was just having a think about where the 2013 World Cup games could and should be played. In the RFL press release and press conference they said that the chosen grounds would host 'a group game' and/or a quarter final. Unless I've missed something some grounds must be hosting more than the one game.
Anyway here are my ideas so far. Thoughts?

Australia v England - =#FF0000Hull
Fiji v Ireland - =#FF0000Rochdale

Bristol says thanks. If you're really in Devizes, then you're in a town that I'd like to host the third (or maybe fourth... there is another...) Wiltshire RL team. PM me if you'd be interested.

RLEF > RLIF'" He doesn't want peace, he wants to maintain control for his clique. If he wanted peace, he would have run things democratically from the start and there wouldn't have been a split in the first place. I don't think there would be a problem if he wanted to run his own league, he just shouldn't have control of the national team. He's pretty much admitted in that article that he is incapable of running it impartially.

| We need to shove RLWC13 and the sport in general in peoples faces, whether it be through social media or any other methods. The media need to give it the attention it deserves and the public, everybody needs to know about it. Christ I'll even resort to trolling if I have to.
I think Old Trafford is the right choice, I am looking forward to the double header at Wembley too. Will many amateur clubs across the country be getting discounts/freebies?

| All fixtures need to be confirmed and then tickets put on sale. It may be minimal but a steady sale of tickets between now and November 30th would provide a base for attendances. Stands outside each and every Super League (and maybe Championship, Championship 1 games) for the rest of the season. A highly visible tent with prizes and promotions, selling WC tickets at the Super Leaguen Grand Final at Old Trafford. Each and every club in Britain, Ireland and France should be contacted and told they'll be rewarded accordingly based on the number of tickets they can sell. With 365 days to go till the final there be should be a big event to publicise the fact that there's a year till the sport's international showpiece. Those are just a few immediate ideas as I'm on a 40 minute dinner-break, but there are so many possibilities with this.

| 500 days till the 2013 Rugby League World Cup and hardly a peep from the RFL. it would have been nice to see at least a mention on Sky's State of Origin coverage, maybe a celebratory lunch with the mayors of the host cities, chairmen of the clubs and national newspaper sports editors. Opportunity missed or am I making too much of this?
