I've switched off. Completely ruined the game. Out of the 14 penalties given (for both sides) i would say 2 or 3 were deemed penalties. Why completely change the way a game is refereed during the play-offa. As Eddie & Stevo said, Hudds looked scared to tackle too hard in case the got pinged. How fast do we want the game to be played?? You are allowed to dominate the tackle. It was ridiculous. I'm as big a league fan as they come, and very veyr rarely switch off games. So if i'm switching off, how many neutrals switched off.

Think he has reffed it well. Awful Hudds defence and the lack of anything at all offensively has ruined the game. Gansons been consistent, thats all you can ask from him.

@Bull Mania, I have to agree. I very nearly turned off in the first half as it was clear Ganson wasn't going to let Hudds get into the game. The last 10mins haven't been so bad as Ganson seems to have put the whistle away for a short while and the game has become better to watch, but the game is already gifted to Warrington.

Thought the Brough/Hodgson one was terrible from Ganson. Penalty probably, but no need for Ganson to call Brough out for a word. Hodgson slipped, is Brough supposed to adjust in a nano-second?

We have seen a fantastic Warrington performance tonight, we really should be talking about that. Whatever influence Ganson had over the game Warringtons performance had an infinite amount more. Worthy league leaders.

More over than the refs performance is the commentators for me. The rules of RL often come down to interpretation we must accept this- but when Hemmings and company constantly come over as confused at decisions it takes away massively from our sport for me.

Tonight i invited a friend who never watches rl to watch the game with me i quote 'If these expert guys can't understand the rules what chance have i got' was his opinion, needless to say he won't be watching again.

Felt sorry for you guys tonight, Ganson ruined the game in the first 10 minutes.

Total neutral here. Not complaining who got the penalties, just how many there was and things they were for.

No consistency all game (let alone from the previous few weeks). wire we allowed to play at 100mph but Hudds were not.

not sure Hudds wanted to play at 100mph...that was their problem...the wanted a wrestle on the floor...and a player got binned for it...they were lucky only one went for 10.

Love him or loathe him Ganson demands a quick play the ball, Hudds and Wigan's game is built on slowing down the opposition and will always fall foul of this ref. As a Warrington (and a Rl fan) i'm pleased to see an entertaining brand of rugby and being tough on the slowing 'down style of play' suits me as a rugby league and a warringon fan.

I wonder if Huddersfield had started the game in posession, and had received the first penalties what the game would have been like.

Wire were superb in defence, even taking into account the fact they were being reffed differently, and were all round the better team. I had not a single doubt before the game that Wire would win, and win healthily tonight, but Ganson, his touch judges and his video ref put in what is quit simply the worst example of officiating I've ever seen.

Penalised twice for a wire player falling over, Kev brown penalised for being punched. And it's the calls not given that do the damage. Quite simply Warrington and Huddersfield were reffed to utterly different standards tonight.

Wire were always going to win, but the officials were a genuine embarrassment to rugby league tonight.

warrington dont need any help but ganson gave them plenty tonight, he was utter gash, good job our defence made the game safe for wire or he would have looked a right plank!

Because Ganson knows people will be talking about him, which is exactly what he wants.
