I'm not one of those who's down on our great game but for a comp needing a new sponsor, it's really not funny. Totally unprofessional and disorganised.

Surely it would have taken the same amount of time to send someone up from Huddersfield with the kit than it did to sort out an old Halifax shirt?

All we need now are Hull KRs flood lights.

Maybe the second half will see Hudds in their own home kit and Cas in their away kit?

It would go some way to appeasing Cas sponsors.

You'd hope someone has jumped in the car to go fetch it that's for sure. Why they couldn't do that anyway when both started warning up I'll never know.

Basically a kit clash. Which means cas are having to wear spare fax shirts. From last year.

Why did Cas have to change their kit when it was not their fault? Surely it should be Huddersfield in the second hand kits

I would have thought so too. Be quicker to nip home for the hudds shirts. Someone said it was summat to do with probiz? No idea tho.

It could be worse, imagine if Hull were forced to borrow a red and white shirt.

All clubs are sent a kit directive at the start of the year and are told to bring both kits in case of any problems.

Can't wait until the match officials forget their kits and have to ref in Saints shirts!

How embarrassing having to wear a Halifax shirt

i could be wrong. but i have always been under the impression that in rugby league the home team wear their alternative if there is a clash. that being the case its castlefords balls up.
then again, surely sound planning would dictate taking two lots of kit along just in case.

Halifax's 2011 strip is less of a clash too. And has the same main sponsor. Shame they couldn't fish out them.

I said at 5.30pm that both sides were in their white kits, I wonder how early everyone who matters actually realised though?

I wouldn't mind so much, but the Halifax shirt is hardly avoiding the colour clash that well. From the back, it's almost completely white!

Thats what they do in union internationals. Rugby league operates a home team, home shirt policy.
