I agree with you. My point is that Brown and Brough is a better PARTNERSHIP. You appear to think this is some kind of crazy suggestion. If they are still playing quality TOGETHER at the end of the year, I can see them being much more effective as PARTNERS than the others would be.

Depends if this partnership fits in to how the coach wants them to play their game. Ive been impressed with Brown at SL level but he was shown up massively last year as lacking idea.

I'm pretty sure Robinson will be at 9 along with Roby anyway looking at his form since injury.

not got a problem with robinson he's been playing well....but i think its a toss up between him and sinfield for that bench hooker/untility role with roby starting at 9 for england

Sinfield can play 9, 6 and 13 to a pretty high standard. I wouldn't argue if he was in the team, as long as it's to play 9 and not 13

i think kevs days of playing fulltime @ 13 internationally are long gone....hes a utility now

Id sooner see Scoot Moore in there before Sinfield. Lack of pace for a hooker. Need some to probe like Roby/Robinson

I would rather have some dangerous running options from dummy half and that would rule Sinfield out - some combination of Lunt/Roby/Robinson and with an eye to the future the younger hookers

If we were to have an organising/kicking half like Brough then we don't need this replicated through the hooking role

Pace out of dummy half is only any use if you're going to be winning the collision and getting quick play the balls. Otherwise you need someone in there with a bit of craft and game intelligence.

Not sure that's Scott Moore's strong suit.

Only off the bench. If Brough doesn't play then he could be the answer to our kicking problems.

also having sinfield on the bench mean you could rest a extra forward for a 15-20 by putting sinfield @ 13 ie taking burgess off,moving lockers to 2nd row and sinfield to 13....aswell as sinfield being able to cover the halves incase of injury

Roby is so far ahead of every single player in SL at the moment and playing 80 minutes. Why on earth would you interchange him with Sinfield who can only pass in one direction, has no pace and is generally not good enough for international rugby league?

I’m not sure that we will beat the Kangaroos and Kiwis by making our pack more lightweight for 15 to 20 minutes

I’m afraid that Sinfield is the type of player who excels in the domestic competition but suffers through his versatility – we don’t want players who can play multiple positions, we want the best for each position and at this moment in time, that doesn’t include Sinfield

If you search far enough back on this forum, you will find that I also stated that England should make Sinfield captain and build the team around him as he is a player that if you have him in the team he has to be the boss of the team (I'm not expecting you to do that by the way!)

However, that ship has proverbially sailed and we have better options in 2011 (when did King Wally say it?)

roby is the best english hooker by quite some distance..... to consider anyone over him would be idiotic.

only someone like steve mcnamara would consider it.
