why would you seperate the French teams and not have two derbies and rivallary in the same conference? Stick Cats in East and Quins in West.

Play each team in your conference home and away and each team from other conference once home or away alternating each year. Could work but you would miss out on the big clashes of Wigan/St's/Leeds

Leeds-Wigan at Headingley, under this structure, would be played once every three seasons. Instead of getting a big crowd you'd be more likely to get a sell out because of the novelty.

Guys im no longer able to get the academy games/ reserves so ill have to go on what you lot are saying but if you look at my club wakefield, weve been forced to play youngsters from various clubs and weve been competitive in the majority of games so far this season. I genuinly think theres plenty of quality youngsters knocking about who can make the step u if given the right advice, training etc but are sadly stuck in the reserves for too long and get a bit disheartened and vanish from the game, who might flourish at a lesser side.

Indeed it has and it's a classic example of something not becoming any more sensible no matter how many times you say it.

Why not just let the current system run Its course. The effects of the salary cap are becoming ever more apparent, as on their day any team can beat any other in the league. Added to this the next 2 or 3 seasons will see the quota finding its true level, as many of the overseas players not counting due to being registered before 2008 will retire or move on, thus closing a large loophole in the system. Then there's the youth development at newly promoted or licensed clubs starting to bear fruit due to the safety net of the 3 year license system. Speaking from a Hull KR perspective I would imagine the make up of our squad to be very different by the next round of licenses being granted for 2015. While our sport should be applauded for striving to improve the product with its constant tweeking, we haven't given the current arrangements time to fulfill their objectives.
