if ingis was only about money hed have long gone

french union has lost much of its appeal, especially after mark gasnier made his critical comments about his time there

please, do me a favour. Show me any direct quote from Inglis that says he was offered DOUBLE the $600k+ he would get in the NRL and turned it down to play in a one sided 3game series every year.

Article on the NRL website by a fitness conditioner who currently works with two AFL clubs and was working for Wayne Bennett at theBroncos two seasons ago, states that Inglis's weight is a big obstacle to anyone signing him this year. He says his weight is currently 120Kilos when it should be 108 kilos. Because of his two operations on his shoulder and hip during this off-season, he cannot do any upper body work nor can he do much running. He reckons with the best training environment, dietician, expert monitoring, etc, Inglis will still only be able to lose one kilo per week - and that is ambitious. Given that he cannot begin such a regieme whilst he is still recovering from surgery he is a long way from being fully fit. He says a two year deal will effectively only be a one year deal because no team will get anything like the best out of him this season no matter what sport he is in.

Inglis is one of the best players in the RL world,why would you want to lose a talent like his to an inferior sport.
