According to someone on the Wigan site, they signed for Wigan U15s this year.

Yeah they did, and good luck to them. Think they've only been to a couple of training sessions so far, not played any games yet.

Certain individuals on here believe that us "dross" clubs can not produce players or make a worthwhile contribution to the game in terms of player development, nice to see them proved wrong.

Saints, Wire, Wigan will always clean up on the best kids in the region. As a dad with a talented son you would have no hesitation in placing him into a full time structure, in Cumbria it happens a little later but they still grab them
