| Some good news for once. I thought i'd put it here rather than doing another thread but ex Knights forward Chris Houston has had all charges dropped in court and is free to sign with an NRL club. I like Houston and thought the Knights missed him last season, would of been in the NSW team IMO aswell but for these charges which have cost him a year of NRL so it's good to see him back. The Knights have made a 3 year offer but the Cowboys have also come in for him. I think he'll stay at the Knights but the Cowboys could certainly do with him as there light in the forwards. Neil Henry has also said the Cowboys have room to sign another 2 players for 2011, a prop and a utility they are after although i wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of players from Souths end up going there so they can get the Inglis deal done. Whatever they do it needs to be sorted out pretty quick as he wont hang about much longer.

| Finally, Inglis signs for Souths on a 3 year deal and Beau Champion has gone to Melbourne on a 3 year deal. I thnik Champion will do well at Melbourne, i'm surprised they wanted him after Dane Neilsen and Justin O'Neil went well for them last year, i thought they'd be the centres this year, also surprised they had enough money to get Champion but he's only 23 and everyone that plays for the Storm seems to end up being rep players so dont be surprised if he's the NSW centre next year.
Also look forward to seeing young Dylan Farrell playing in the centres with Inglis next year, he looked a very promising player in the couple of games he played. Souths should be definate top 4 contenders next year, they've managed to keep all there forwards although i think the Storm will still finish higher than them.

| Great deal for Storm! I reckon they'll play Neilsen on the wing now. It is quite an exciting young backline they have put together for not much money.

| Good on ya souths, your revival is well and truly on track.
Be interesting to see what their crowds will be like at the end of the season if they are a top 4 side.
Been decades without anything good happening for them on the pitch, I just wonder if they still have a decent fanbase seeing as most children would've grown up (and growing up now?) have never seen a top souths side that gets plenty of FTA TV and media exposure.

| Like the other bandwagon clubs I am sure if they get to the finals and a GF they will get massive support. Transalting that to regular support is the challenge, as you will know eels fan.

| They averaged over 17k this season, with a good year it could nudge 20.
Parra have always had a big bandwagon jb, probably the biggest in the game, memberships and all that come with it will change a lot of attitudes for every club over the next 5-10 years.

parras crowds are fine considering theyve not won a comp for 24 years
the idiots that bag sydney crowds often dont know how long these clubs have been starved of a premiership

| Parra's problem is so much not winning the comp, it maintaning a decent team over a good period, we go from GFists or prelim losers straight back down to the bottom 4 the next year with virtually the same friggin team.

| I wouldn't want $BW at Parra, Cooper would be ok, but not the guy who thinks he can do whatever he wants when he wants.
Plus anyone involved with Mundine is a moron, he is poison and ends up affecting the clubs where the players are at.
