Sept 81/82 season Lancs CF v Widnes.......atrocious conditions but our Ist piece of serious silverware since the 71 CC win.

| Mine is the 12th February 1996 when we did the whole of Rugby League a favour (though Wigan fans would probably disagree!!). Who'd have thought that lowly Salford would be the team that brought Wigan's unprecedented 43 game unbeaten run to a spectacular end?
Even the scoreline of 26-16 didn't really tell the story of just how comprehensively Wigan were beaten that day - Salford had 2 tries disallowed that I'm still convinced were perfectly ok but even so it demonstrates just how dominant Salford were. The atmosphere in the Willows was electric and the joy at the sound of the final hooter will live with me forever, it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I think of it.
Without taking anything away from the Sheffield win over Wigan at Wembley I believe that this result was more remarkable even than that shock Wembley win by the Eagles. A truly memorable afternoon.

| Hull KR at home in April 1982 when we beat them and knew that a win at Haven would secure our first Championship for several generations. The Hull fans stayed behind at the Boulevard listening to the match over the tannoy and for once hoping KR could win.
That was one hell of a team we had that year!

| As a Donny fan it has to be beating Batley on the last day of the season in a winner takes all game at Mount Pleasant to win promotion to the First division. Whoever won went up and if it was a draw London would have sneaked in through the back door. MP was packed to the rafters that day with around 7,500 people in there. Scenes we will never see again thanks to franchising!

Was going to post the exact same game. I remember me and the family with friends all being on BBC news the next morning with a banner in the variety centre. Magical, magical day.

| Only been a Rovers fan since 1994, so until 2005 it was mostly bad memories, apart from:
1995-96 Second Division title win - okay it was the bottom tier of pro RL, but was first silverware I'd seen us win.
1996 Second Division title win to secure promotion
1997 Plate win at Wembley (again, mocked by some Hull fans but at the time it was a great feeling)
1997 Boothferry Park win over Hull
Moving to the last 5 years there's thankfully been plenty:
2005 NRC win at Blackpool (one of the best goalkicking displays I've ever seen by Gareth Morton, + an outstanding try by the great Byron Ford ).
2006 Grand Final win at Widnes - incredible atmosphere, performance and night
Beating Leeds at home in 2007
6-42 at the KC
11-10 win over Hull in 2008 in horrible conditions
Play-off win in September
Most memorable of them all has to be the 2006 Grand Final win. With losing the NRC Final to Leigh, + away games at their place & Whitehaven (with weakened teams in these two games due toresting players admittedly) I went into the final thinking we'd peaked way too soon and that it was Widnes' for the taking. Thankfully I was very wrong.

| I would say that beating Hull at Boothferry Park in 1997 was pretty special, seeing our players at the end not coming to celebrate with the fans but going to boast in front of the Hull fans!
Making Hull fans leave the KC early is always a good thing!
But I would say the ultimate was beating Warrington in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final. The weather was brilliant, the players were pumped up and each time they went behind everyone thought that was it we were going to give up and roll over!! Every time I watch this game back the hairs all over my body stand up! Admittedly we then went and got seriously done by Saints but hey that's not something to be ashamed of when you're a league below!

| This may be a strange thing, but seeing 300 people turn out to watch Fartown was the worst day to be a fartown fan, but it marked the end in our bad spell, and there was only one way up from there. It, looking back on it, was an inspiring day for fartown, it marked the end of this dark spell, and the start of the upward spiral.
Second is Leeds 46-52.

Just felt electric all day leading up, when inside Headingley all the Wigan were silent before kick off and the Cas fans had Beach balls, Mr Blobby in a Cas Shirt and it just felt positive.
Then Nikau, Singe and Ketteridge did their business.
'"
I was at Cas a week later with Salford. great atmosphere amongst Cas fans - a hefty defeat for us, think we went down by about 70.

| No question, it has to be the 2006 National League 1 Grand Final, there was just so much on that game that I felt physically sick from waking up at 8am, until about 7.15pm when Pat Weisner scored to put the game beyond Widnes in the 2nd half.
Many other great memories, but this closed a bad chapter for Rovers, and opened another adventure that continues to this day.

| I've more than 1!
Me and 3,000 Keighley fans going to Rochdale to watch us beat Highfield 104-4 and win the league. The biggest cheer was when Highfield scored!
Beating Salford at the Willows in a cracking night match, the same season they turned Wigan over in the cup.
We'd just beat Huddersfield in the Division 2 Premiership final playing really well. Wigan were giving Leeds an almighty stuffing in the main event, and "Bring on the Cougars" started ringing around Old Trafford with the Wigan and Leeds fans telling us what a good side we looked and we deserved to be in Super League. I felt about 10ft tall.
Beating Super League Fax at Thrum Hall in the Challenge Cup.
Nick Pinkney's 80 yard try in the World Cup for England against South Africa. A Keighley player scoring for England, I doubt I'll ever see that again.

| 1986 challenge cup semi win against oldham at central park,it wasnt a great game but cas won 18-6 we had been beat in the semis twice in the previous 3 years and it was just amazing to know what it felt like to win a semi instead of the dispair of losing.
it almost seemed like most of cas was their and there was also plenty celebrating in the river at the back of of the stand,i also remember running for my life when the hooter went i was sat at the front of the stand and made my way towards the players has usual for tie ups only this time i was been chased and followed by what seemed thousands of celebrating fans.

| obviously i'm gonna say the two challenge cup wins. 2009 vs huddersfield, i went feeling like i shouldn't have been there and was so shocked when we won. 2010 well tbh i went thinking '' yeah, its gonna be a great day but don't get your hopes up''. i was shocked again but felt we deserved it this time and we were finally looking starting to look like we could be one of the big boys.
leeds in the play-off was amazing 18-17, that lee briers drop goal still makes me smile. I had never seen anything like it when we won that night
but do you know what will be THE best, and call me sad
the day we beat saints

| 1982 Whitehaven v Leigh last game of season and Leigh needed to win to win the championship. Leigh were losing 4-1 at half-time finished up winning 13-4 following the hairdryer treatment from Alex Murphy.
Also 1985 JPT game Widnes v Leigh. Widnes were top of Div 1 and Leigh were in Div 2. Widnes were 18-0 up after 20 mins. Leigh finished up 35-31 winners with Des Drummond making a mug out of Mick Burke for most of the 2nd half

In 1996? I don't seem to recall you beating us at any point If my memory serves me correct we lost two games that season away to Hull and away to Fev. I remember hammering you at Cougar park then we beat you at our place to win league. With our players doing the cougar crawl around the pitch at full time Happy days.
You never beat us in the 1996 season. I'll happily stand corrected though.
