Personally I wouldn’t change Phil Clarke for the world. Yeah his love of Wigan does overflow at times, but doesn’t the love of anything do that?

There’s been some groups created on Facebook tonight asking good riddance of Phil Clarke that I clearly find offensive. Groups like ‘Get the Phil Clarke off Sky Sports’ are certainly not on.

What if Carmont had been injured during that tackle? What Danny did was cheating, he has paid for his error of jugement along with the rest of his team because his injury disadvantages Leeds much more than the advantage of a week off.

Last night there were over 20 penalties for foul play - so is every player who committed a penalty a cheat?

Clarke has been ridiculous for some time. I would have expected someone at Sky to take him to one side and say

'Look Phil, you're a decent bloke with a distinguished career, but you the bias, nonsense statistics and the very strange inflection in your voice makes you look and sound like a complete {.................} (use drop down menu for your own choice of words)

He isn't biased. Wigan fans not so long ago were moaning about his praise for Saints and Leeds and Warrington and Hull and KR and Bradfert and Catalans and Cas and Salford and especially Sean Long, even Wakey and Hudd, he will always try to find the positive. As regards the penalty try, he was right, as he so often is. The laugh about this subject is how many posters are now trying to say that Stevo and hairdye talk sense.

What's the difference between holding a man down to prevent a quick PTB that could lead to a try or what McGuire did - both are calculated illegal actions against the rules of the game that could have very similar outcomes?

Tough, fast. But lightweight. Wouldnt get near an NRL first-grade back line. He represents everything thats wrong with UK RL. Its too easy to play SL with one or two strong qualities and forgetting about developing everything else that makes a world class player.
