| Don't care. If an average old Aussie like Richards can win it (following the likes of Hodgson) then it goes a long way to explaining why our game is a long way behind Australia.

Old.... he's 28!!! If your location is actually right then you wouldnt have seen Richards that much this season and as such are not in position to be calling him average.
Id still say O'Loughlin for MoS and Maguire for coach of the year becuase he has massively improved a team without adding to it. Not really sure about young player of the year, maybe Whitehead or Harrison.

| I'm completely against wingers getting MoS, call me old fashioned but he's only scored so many tries by the hard work done by the forwards and the creativity or the halves and O'Loughlin.
Morley or O'Loughlin for MoS
Watts or Houghto
Maguire or Smith

19th March against Hull Kingston Rovers? 7 games in is barely halfway through the season is it.

Without turning this into another Hull FC v Hull KR borefest IMO only Tony Smith could be ahead of Agar in that list. Agar, despite only having his 2 half-backs playing together once or twice in the full season, has taken the team who finished 12th last year to having a realistic chance of been in the top 4. The alternative coaches who might be deemed 'better' coaches (Bluey, Brown, Morgan) have taken their teams from 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively to (atm) 5th, 6th and 7th.

| Ben Harrison and Joel Tomkins are 23 so we may as well give the young player of the year to Steve Menzies if they are being considered. Even Sam Tomkins at 21 is a bit old for this award.
There are a lot of candidates for the young player of the year Liam Farrell at Wigan, Tom Briscoe at Hull, Clarkson at Leeds, Donaldson and Whitehead at Bradford, Dixon, Lomax and Foster at St.Helens.
Out of all these players you would have to say Briscoe is the player that has performed week in week out.
I think that Maguire has a good shot at being coach of the year. The fact that there is no stand out candidate for MOS at Wigan shows how well they have played as a team.
MOS is very open. I think that the likely winner will come from Warrington or Wigan. Michael Monaghan or Matt King would be good bets. Sam Tomkins is a much more worthy winner than Richards. The award should really go to a great rugby player than a goal kicker.
So I think the awards should go to...
MOS: Monaghan
YP: Briscoe
Coach: Maguire
But I am sure politics will get in the way.

Have you seen the amount of votes for Richards?

That's why Richards is so popular. His kicking imo hasn't been as good this year as in previous years, but his general play is just great practically every game he plays.

| Bit surprised Chris Riley hasn't even been mentioned for young player considering he could easily be the leading scorer in all comps?

| Richards - Most consistant player by a long way
Tomkins - If he is a contender for MOS which I believe he is, then he must win YPOTY
Noble - He had no team when he took over, he has taken them to the top 8, amazing achievement

Michael MaGuire - It surely has to be Madge - who would have tipped Wigan to finish top? Surely he has proven how inept Brian Noble was after transforming the same squad as last season (apart from the addition of Deacon & loss of Gaz Hock).
