If saints and leeds have players back from injury for the play offs then im going for saints v leeds

I hope it isn't Saints-Leeds, I want different sides this year.

If both sides are at full strength for the play offs i think saints v leeds is very possible.

It is very very possible, i'd just like to see two different sides this year. I'd kind of like Saints to be there as i'm taking a few people from work who don't watch RL but when they have watched it, enjoy watching Saints. Saints-Wigan would be amazing.

I have gone for Wigan and Leeds.

Leeds are coming back to full form now and will peak and maybe even win it for a 4th year.

We currently look like finishing top and have the ability to beat the best sides.

Saints v Wigan for me and hopefully the same result as the 2000 Grand Final plus it's the biggest game in British RL.

ok, here's my thinking.

Leeds should overhall Hull fairly soon, and Saints (with Eastmond & Pryce out for the season) for me are going to start slipping away. That said, I just don't think Wire are going to drop enough games for us to finish 2nd, so that'd put us in 3rd. We're then looking at playoffs of

Wigan v St Helens
Warrington v Leeds
Hull v Bradford
Huddersfield v Hull KR

which I reckon will see wigan & Leeds go through, Hull & Huddersfield from the lower half, St Helens then beating Bradford and Warrington beating Huddersfield.

Wigan will then choose wire, leaving Leeds to beat Saints at Headingley. I think it'll be a wigan v Leeds final, with Leeds winning again.

Would be better under the old top 5/top 6 format where one of the top 2 are always guarenteed a GF spot. Would be daft if 2 mid-table teams contested the GF.

I personally can’t see Wigan losing for the rest of the season including their game against Leeds in the league. Wigan seem to learn from their mistakes this year and don’t make them twice. If they make them twice they certainly don’t make them a third time.

Wigan are literally unstoppable. 2010 - 2019 = The Decade of the warriors!

We will be beaten at least once before the season is out. I just hope it's not V Warrington next weekend.

As for unstoppable? You couldn't be further from the truth. We seriously need to strengthen for next season IMHO, as I think there are one maybe two teams in SL that are IMO better than Wigan.

Luckily the bulk of our first team are due for a return soon. Wilkin is in the 19 this week after a 3 month lay off, Meli and Puletua should return from injury this week, Pryce's injury doesn't appear serious, Cunningham will be fit for the Challenge Cup Semi Final and Fa'asavalu is back in about 6 weeks time along with Eastmond hopefully.

The problem is we've really struggled to get a fully fit team on the park all year, and unless we get some troops back soon I feel we'll burn out especially if we reach the Cup Final.

Come play off time we’ll see that. However there’s no doubt that Wigan finished has the third best team in the country last year play-off wise. Michael Maguire hasn’t made any drastic changes to the Wigan personal and you’ve done awesome this year.



I’m pleased with the season that Hull are having. Despite my earlier prediction in this thread I can’t see you maintaining 4th spot.

I’d love Hull to prove me wrong mind you.

Warrington V Leeds

I would like to see a Wigan Warrington GF they are the two best in the comp at momment plus I think it would pull in decent crowd been a local derby and all certainly be a change to a whinos stains final.

Wigan V Saints please. Would be a cracking game. Imagine the game on the 20th June, with 3 or 4 times more people there, more skill on show & more passion. Fantastic.
