Yeah, the attendances in Bris across the codes is pretty good. I went to the Wobblies - Ireland game (great atmosphere thanks to the Ireland supporters but a truly dire game, tho') and I guessed the crowd at 40, thou plus. Just under 45.5 in reality.

The Broncs are still pulling good crowds and even the Lions, who are doing it tough on the paddock, still get a decent turnout.

The fact is, there is no agenda towards rugby league at the IRB at all. The only agenda is from rugby league fans towards rugby union

yeah its not as if the IRB has threatened various RU playing nations in europe with the elimination of funding if they play RL in the offseason

Union is a different game. Union has no interest in League and the average hooray henry union fan I know has no knowledge of league.........but the way some on here jump up and down you'd think Harlequins Rugby League were part of some IRB final solution for killing league.

I enjoy reading the posts of the Union haters on here....it does show up their insecurities...maybe their mothers didn't breast feed them.......but they are very touchy about the mention of Union. They point the finger of guilt at the IRB for the vichy governments behaviour 70 years ago, but drive to work in Japanese cars.......they rant and rave about the size of TV deals...and viewing figures, but then refuse to accept the same sources who publish figures regarding union. Maybe their mothers didn't love them enough?

When they can't find a supposed Union troll to pick on, they have a pop at AFL........or any other code of football that they imagine is plotting against league......maybe their fathers loved them too much?

...I don't troll....haven't trolled since I joined these boards...because I only debate in topics I know I can add to without lowering the tone and running the risk of getting banned. I responded to Bazzas post about the union haters.......of which there are a few, who get into a lather every time someone mentions the dark side......I didn't troll....just replied to a post.

Jesus wept......I think the NRL is great and the product has nothing to fear from Union, the AFL or soccer....but some on here feel it's their god given right to attack anyone who disagrees with them.......thus, you get the occasional poster go "missing in action'
