markers have to be square, whatever, they are involved in the next tackle or not.. at for the scrum half, it is in the rules that both teams have to have a scrum half..

Yep, the 4th highest scorers in Super League are dull to watch, them 52 at wakey were boring, the 30 at hull kr had me going home at the 60 min mark, how we got 48 against Catalan is still a mystery, couple of 20's against the bulls and leeds were dire but i get your point

trys from cross field kicks are boring, diving over from dummy half is boring, holding down in the tackle for 10 seconds is boring, the lack of atmosphere in the stadium is boring. Essentially, Huddersfield are just a completely boring club

No if they are square , they can be markers , if they are not square , then they are offside and must not attempt to tackle the player with the ball , if they do they are offside , not ' being square ' is an offside offence , if you are not square and do not attempt to tackle or impied the player with the ball , then you have not committed an offence

If you were a Wigan fan having a go then fair enough. But you are a cas fan for christs sake.. Stones, Glasshouses, throwing them, people. Unscramble the well known saying.

=#8040FFNo...not at all, since when did stats show exciting play? never, all it shows is that the team are doing well in certain areas, how do opta count a clean break for instance? that could be if Crabtree busts through the line and makes a further 10 metres, and as for offloads, that stat doesn't mean a thing if they're inside your own 10 or the the momentum stops/the team go backwards. Huddersfield are incredibly boring to watch, as are Cas this season, in fact I can't think of one team I've seen in SL this year that hasn't bored me, maybe St Helens because they still actually try to play expansive and quickly...everyone else is trying to turn into the NRL 3 years ago, and making a poor effort at it.

| As for Huddersfield, I have no gripe with what is a proud old club, but I do have to say Ive been glad our last few recent visits have been on TV.
Its overpriced to go in and park and it feels like your watching a curtain raiser their because the large stadium kills any prospect of atmosphere. I also have no feelings at all for Huddersfield. I neither have a soft spot nor love to hate them, they are just a club.
Add those two together and I, like many others I know, pick Huddersfield away as "one to miss."

=#8000FFThat's even worse although the last few weeks I've found myself watching it more, I'm quickly going off the sport, at SL level anyway, the Championship matches have been a lot faster, Sky are just lucky there's nothing else watchable on a Friday & Saturday night because with the way the sport is played now the viewing figures would drop quickly with how slow it's got, the sooner 2 refs are in the better.

Well, I thought the Leeds v Bradford was one of the best matches I've seen in a long while. Some games are slow but then some are equally fast.

To inform the paying public
Certain players have made thier career's from running at markers who are not ' square ' , if those players raise thier arms and do not attempt to tackle or impeed the player with the ball they are not deemed to have committed an offence , so how can a player who is in truth returning to an onside position be offside or deemed as not ' Square if he is 5 metres from the player with the ball ?
Tonight Mr Ganson made up his own rules , not his interpretation of a rule , his own rule

| I watched the game on mute in the pub. Why was the NO TRY given against Cooper? Did they explain that? He's over the line and it's stripped out in a 2 on 1 tackle (Hodgson is clearly involved by the time the ball is out) but the decision is scrum defence? Shouldn't it be a penalty try?

It doesn't matter...we like to get kicked while we are down.
As for the game...come on we had 8 first team players out what did you expect ? We did outselves proud and i think Hudds should be dissapointed they didn't put more than 24 on us...because Barrow would probably beat us if we put that side out next week.

I seem to remember that punchbag did more damage to Tallis with the punch he actually landed than Tallis did with all 8 or so of his.

matchday prices to sit Huddersfield £20 Cas £21
Junior seat Huddersfield £8 Cas £13
I like many others choose to attend games at Cas although i do not take the kids.

| Cas were very poor (but with the side they had out it was to be expected) and Huddersfield weren't much better. It was far from the worst game I've ever watched but hardly a thriller, and tonights offering doesn't fill me with hope either. Why, on a weekend that Leeds play Hull and Hull KR play Warrington, where these games picked?
