As I said in earlier posts they have been found out but they just can't, won't or are totally incapable of changing whilst all the other teams do.

what you mean the problems of having to play kids because 2/3 of the first team are injured? These wigan clowns think that the title is won in March. From what Ive seen tonight that is not a champion side by a million miles. If thats all they put out in the GF in October Leeds will be back to back to back to back champions without question

Having said that they are doing OK against the supposed best side in the league.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game and we at Leeds have been fairly lucky for a few seasons that we haven't had that many first team players out all at once.

The thing is, if Leeds can stay in the eight and get all the players back for the latter end of the year, they could still do well in the playoffs even if they have a poor season.

No what you have is a coach/team who currently cannot think outside the "box" they had this year.

Even the "kids" in the team against Wigan are following thsame tired old system.

Fortunately for them they are getting away with it so far in this game but it is dull, boring and depressing and still would be if the "stars"





were back.

As I said a problem and nothing so far shows me they have the nounce to do anything about it no matter who is on the field.

And according to the SKY team its poor Leeds this and poor Leeds that and how well they are doing in keeping another SL team to 6 points - not being funny but they are the 3 times in a row champions so they should have a squad and youngsters coming through be able to cope with injuries !! the way sky are going on about it you would think they are a small struggling inexperienced club who are doing a great job in these hard difficult times for them and punching above their weight.
No disrespect to Leeds but most clubs have injuries at some point in the season and cope so why should the current champions get sympathy when they are struggling ?

Know nowts and win nowts like you wiganers have been saying that for three years. Lets see whos wearing a GF ring again in october when it actually counts for anything.

It's one thing having 3 or 4 players out but at the moment Leeds are missing over 50% of the 17 you would expect to be out there. You take that many players out of any team in any competition and they are going to struggle. So long as Leeds make the 8 at the end of the season they will be the team to beat.

totally agree, i wasn't having a dig at the Leeds club more the sky team for making out that no other club has ever suffered the way poor old Leeds are having to do now . almost like its not fair or something .

FWIW my team have had up to 6 1st teamers out for most of this season too so i know how hard it is to maintain full power with injuries

Fair play. We are starting to tire badly here, can see Wigan pulling away from us. Personally I'm very proud of our showing so far. We have hung in there with a patchwork team and these young lads getting game time now will only help us down the line.

I wouldnt get too bothered about the Sky team playing it up, it's their job, remember leeds have won the comp for the last three seasons so its obvious they are going to play it up a little when Leeds are losing as many games as they are.

That's true enough.

No matter how well Leeds have done the last 3 years their squad is limited by the same salary cap rules as everyone else.

Do most teams have 9 players out at the same time for several weeks? Leeds certainly haven't have an injury spell like this for 5 or 6 years.
