How does this free ticket lark work can anyone remember what Red Hall stated when the started this ?
I thought that the clubs still had to pay for the tickets ( issued for the cup game ) into the pot. Otherwise the smaller clubs could lose a small fortune covering policing costs etc and getting very little to no revenue at all in. Bradford at Dewsbury is one such tie as is Wigan at Sheffield.

That's pretty much the case, as I understand it. Apparently, travel costs aren't covered in the Challenge Cup so we stand to lose a fortune with playing away to Limoux. Still, not complaining, though going over there two weeks after returning from Toulouse might cost a bit! |
