As well I know as I enjoyed watching the Warriors beat the Eels at Mount Smart on a lovely day in South Auckland back in 2008, followed by watching Mason's first game against the Bulldogs in Sydney a few days later, as well as being a season ticket holder for Harlequins Rugby League.

For me (and I know many others involved in French rugby league), the episode only ends when reparations are made to our great sport in France for the damage done - which would run to many millions of Euros - and the rugby union bodies in France (most particularly the FFR but others also) apologise unreservedly for their atrocious actions.

In 10 years time, French RL will look nothing like it does now.

They just done a deal with a Digital FTA station that will show all their internationals and the Final of the LDC and GF, it's a start and if these games can get some decent ratings, they might decide to expand their coverage to inclde either the LER or SL with the Dragons and Toulouse.

The same deal put in place also has the print media involved in that they will be promoting the games.

This is a massive step up.

The FTA channel isn't the biggest at the moment, but with everyone getting set top boxes or new TV's with Digital channels, it will eventually expand so that everyone can watch.

I had that annoying French Troll saying to me it was pathetic, but the idiot doesn't realise that by 2013, digital channels will be available to everyone.
