Yes he can be a bit, well, wrong but drinking games called Stevo's catchphrases get you mighty drunk!

I agree entirely. Compare him to Ray French and the gulf is huge.

Agreed, as well as this I've lost track of the amount of times I've heard of him going out of his way to talk to a fan or foster and encourage a child's interest in RL. He's almost like a father figure, and his enthusiasm and passion for the game is something that will be very difficult to replace when he retires.

I quite like Stevo and his enthusiasm for the game would be very much appreciated in other quarters.

If you take him out of the TV world and off the Sky commentary team it would be a very boring set up. Most of the times I laugh out loud watching Sky is when him or Barry Mac come out with their one liners. Long may they be commentating on our game.

Exactly, we don't have anybody with anywhere near as much enthusiasm as Stevo.

He might be enthusiastic at times but....He talks B0llocks!!

I've also come to the conclusion that he doesn't have the faintest idea what a dummy runner is, because quite often he will say "they need to start utilising the dummy runner" and I think to myself, well they used 3 of the buggers on that play alone.

I think that usually comes at the time in a game where teams are tired and resort to one out football. Often the dummy runners go in half d or just stand and watch as another guy takes it in

that's my fave bar one...

I watched most of the match with the sound off after his pre-match guff wound me up....

We [ RL cannot afford Bradford,Hull and Warrington to not make the play offs

So who does he want to make the play offs ? , all 14 of them

Stevo is RL on sky, He just oozes passion for the game, i would much rather have him than any of the bbc lot. I like everyone else have a whinge and a shout at him on the TV but it just adds to the enjoyment for me
