| The idea of Crusaders moving back to South Wales confuses me. Why bother? Most of the RL fans down there won't want to support them, and the neutrals will think they're a joke. Their best bet is trying to start again in Wrexham and build up there.
In the mean time, start a new club in South Wales and start again. Crusaders as a brand is dead in South Wales by the sounds of things. It would be quicker to start again than undo the mess.

kids want to be playing for a SL club, not an nl1 club
media talk about SL clubs not NL1 clubs
whereever they are in wales, a SL club will achieve 10 times more than an nl1 club
junior development in wales is developing very well. without a SL club it will be largely wasted

why not have the Crusaders the 'Wales' team, a roving team around Wales with 2/3 feeder clubs in the lower leagues with permanent bases around the country?
Sell 3 or 4 matches a season in 3 or cities around the country, each as an 'event' in its own right

as long as the club is in wales, they are doing what they said theyd do
people at the club always said theyd play some games outside of brigend

It wouldn't sell season tickets (who is going to travel all around Wales for 13 games?).
I very much doubt Crusaders games would be "bought" by cities. They'd have to pay for stadium rent, and I can imagine that would cost more than staying put at one place (as it is more "bulk"icon_wink.gif.
I think there is a reason why there aren't many teams like this.

True , but not really what looks like happening , now if the RFL were running the Crusaders it could work , but they're not , instead we have somebody desperate to get some revenue into his stadium from wherever he can

with only 3 or 4 games a season, each area should be marketed as an event, should get a bit more publicity from the local papers,
iv often said that for Wales, Scotland and maybe Ireland a Country Club side as the pro representatives with a lower league base would be a better way around it

the NRL clubs which are merged offer season tickets to different grounds, and one combined season ticket
for example wests have a home ground in campbelltown at one end of sydney, and leichhardt oval in the middle.
you can buy a ST for either leichhardt oval, campbelltown or all their home grounds

it wouldnt be hugely different to how Wests operate,
and why wouldnt people buy tickets? the point is not immediately expecting people to go to all matches, it would encourage fans to 'dip their toes' as it were
people go to 'events' even if they arent particularly fans of the sport, and this is what it would allow us to do
