| what a surprise! Not liek they haven't known it was happening. How hard is it to book some stadiums? What the frick does Love do to earn his RLIF salary?
re 5 Nations, I think we should have PNG and France in every time. Only way they will get stronger to challenge one day. Look at how Italy has progressed with regular exposure to top Internationals.

| Quote ="roughyedspud"it's not the RFL "we are dealing" with though, we are'nt organising it...the ARL are..
also bear in mind that the RFL pi$$ed the aussies of hugely by announcing details of the 2009 4nations before the ARL approved any of it...so expect no favours from them for the 2010 event'"
We might not be organising the comp, but the RFL should at least acknowledge fans that email them countless times and surely staff at the RFL should know what time of the year the tournament is due to be staged?
I can't believe that the start of the season will commence without the final itinerary being known.

| the double header doesn't sound like a great idea, surely more money would be raised playing the game in NQ or GC?

Right then Ill just book a flight to Aus, where too I don't know as the ARL haven't announced it yet, ill book some internal flights, where too I don't know as the ARL haven't announced it yet, ill book some hotels, where too I don't know as the ARL haven't announced it yet. But at least Ive an idea of the dates, so Id better get cracking. Its just common sense!!
The thing is with proposals is that fact that they are just that "proposals", not set in concrete, anybody with half an once of common sense knows that!!

| Of course silly me, it just like booking a mini bus for a match at Stain Helens. Its easy peasey getting a few grand together and planning International, internal flights and hotel rooms for matches 11000 miles away.

| Am I right in saying that whoever wins the 2010 Euro Cup, wins a place in the 2011 4 Nations? So, potantially the Lebanon could be there??

| Ah right, gotcha! Cheers for that.
Shame that really if they're not involved. They're coming on pretty nicely aren't they? Maybe not entirely Championship level just yet, but good progress seems to be made despite the national situation.

| sad thing is lebanon could beat any of those on their day...i think it's basically down to logistics,a 4 team comp is easier to do than a 5 team comp

| Also, if Lebanon did get through would the RFL want to send the Oz/NZ squads over there to play?
I don't think its sad that the Lebanon could beat one of the Euro Cup teams. I think its great that a solid foundation of talent is being laid over there. Plus, I'm not sure that the Lebanon would be able to beat the national squads that competed in the World Cup, particularly not the Irish squad.
