Nah, they wouldn't have regretted it. Meli would have ensured they'd lose by batting the ball into the opposition's in-goal area at least once! |

Still think it's PNG's tournament, but great to see that the tired cliche trotted out every time there's a round of internationals that rugby league is 'boring and predictable' is yet again blown out of the water.

PNG 44-14 Tonga.
PNG looked good for about 70 mins. Then a few errors creeped in and Tonga got 2 late constelation tries. Would still put my money on PNG for the final.

I thought we were trying to get France more competitive so England can have some more intense international matches.

When the 4 Nations is in the Norther Hemisphere, then the winner of the Euro cup takes the 4th spot in the 4 nations. Same with southern Hemisphere but the 4th place being taken by the winner or the Pacific cup.
So basically, the winner of this years Pacific cup will play next year in the 4 Nations. Then the winner of the Euro cup in 2010 will feature in the 2011 4 nations. That's assuming them have one. |
