On a more serious note, there is I believe an issue as to how the respective sports are dealt with.

I heard last week that North West Counties are abandoning the "service area" teams for 12/13 yr olds, and pushing it back a year or two, as they want to focus on "fun" rather that "competition" and "elite" training.

Now this wasn't from an official source, and I am happy to be corrected.

the NRL is doing very well. the prel. final between the dogs and eels will break records, the TV ratings will break records and everyone here is very happy about that.
