Past experiences have shown that the Poms cant organise sporting events successfully.


Sporting events held in Britain are hopeless.

Granted, a lot of the time its due to the weather, this can't be helped.


But a lot of the time its down to sheer ineptitude

Well, you're not gonna enjoy the next decade then because, ....erm, we've got them all.

I think I might try and get a petition going to try and get all the major sporting events held anywhere other than England in future.

This country is simply not geared up to hosting anything more technical than a small village fete.


And since the British 'elf n safety' got involved the fete isn't even allowed to accept good old fashioned home made british cakes incase someones granny used nuts and someone develops an allergy.


This country is crazy.

Most Aussies have plenty of qualities, on average the people are more friendly down here, in fact the worst and the most narrow minded Aussies appear to all be on RLFANS. I know plenty of good Aussie people (Well I have to say that, the misses and all here family are Aussies). They do have an certain sporting arrogance but so do many nations, but the whinging in the media this week of the Swimming world championships has been a classic, as well as blaming everyone bar themselves for the Ashes test defeat. I was one of the few Poms wearing a blues jersey at origin and that made me a lot of friends, both NSW and Queensland. So I think the only Aussies im upsetting are on here.

You just need to meet the right Aussies mate…

The funny thing about these dumb as dogsh*t poms is that they think we actually care if they like us or not!

Freaky I think it's because deep down everyone knows Australia is the greatest country in the world.

Most people who post on here have probably never been to Australia.

A lot of the people that post on here have probably never been further than Widnes.

A lot of the people on here know nothing about Australia and would probably struggle to name any other cities than Sydney.

The closest most of them have come to the land of plenty is buying an NRL jumper off ebay before pretending to have bought it 'downunder' whilst holidaying in the suburbs of 'Gold Coast' 'Rabbitohs' Parramatta' or 'Roosters' or watching a bit of NRL on Setanta

But thats ok.


When you are an Aussie you KNOW you are the best. Any Aussie will tell you.

A legend from the Sutherland shire like myself would never be seen in either Toongabbie or Burwood.

Suburbs like that are beneath me

Toongabbie is a bit too close to Blacktown and Mt Druitt for my liking

The only time i would ever need to go through Burwood would be on the way to the city and why the hell would i take my car??? It may be as slow as the average Aussie but Cityrail eventually manages to get you there



Oh i take the station road, abbott road and then M2, through the Lane cove tunnel to get to St Leonards. Anything else you want to know???

I couldnt give a crap whether Western Suburbs is beneath you, ive lived in Bondi Junction and near central in the city, and i much prefer how much i pay here for what i get.... i am moving soon to Rhodes and thats as close to the city as i ever want to get.

Love a Pom who leaves everything they know behind to be blessed to live in the great nation of Australia.....and then they try and bag the place to try and save a bit of face!

Have you ever been to Germany? Full of Aussies there too. I didn't know that many Aussies existed. But then again if I lived on a dumpy prison island and spoke in a bizarrely obnoxious dialect that made everyone around me suspect I’d recently been quite near a loud explosion, I’d try to travel a lot, too.

It's very simple.


Sadly your average Brit has been let down badly by the English educational system. As a result of this there are lots of very well paid jobs around where none of the British candidates have the right qualifications/and or experience, not only in London, but also in major cities like Birmingham and Manchester.

A lot of these jobs require candidates that have been educated to degree level. A lot of Poms leave school barely being able to read and write. I'm not having a go at people for this, your education system has failed so many of you and it's not your fault.

So thats where the likes of me come in.

I have a good education. I've been to university. I got a good degree. I have a lot of life experience. I have worked hard. I have travelled extensively.

I came to London for a good time, but primarily I came to London to earn a lot of money. I scored a very well paid job in central London. My employer is superb. He has told me himself that he likes employing Australians because not only are we a lot better qualified than our counterparts from GB but we get the job done without whinging or calling the union in.

A lot of Aussies here (me included) live in share houses. We split the rent, we share the bills, we party hard. When we go back to Oz on a holiday we rent our rooms out to other Aussies for a month or so.

Then after a few years.... we go home. Minted.

British women love us. They honestly can't get enough of us. Trust me on this. Our motto is 'Here for a good time....not a long time' Visit the Shepherds Bush Walkabout and you will see it in lights on the wall. It's our mantra.

when pretending to be from sydney it helps to know one of the busiest roads in it.

otherwise people that are from sydney will just think you are making it up
