Has to be the Hulmes during their time at Widnes. Having the likes of Sorensen, Tamati etc around gives you licence to be as annoying as you like in the knowledge one of them will always step in if someone picks you up for it.

Not sure if it counts as niggle but Chris Smith of Saints/Cas fame must have won a bucket load of penalties for interference by taking exception by struggling and kicking out to every player that tackled him. How this player won a SL winners ring still amazes me to this day (yes, I know Ryan Bailey has 3).

Have to agree with LF there, top call. The Hulmes were animals who never took a backward step, not nigglers. They would never show a hint of pain, unlike Freeman when Hampson nutted him v NZ at Elland Road.
