| See everyone. Thats where a dead club used to play!
I won't do Concord and its multi coloured vomit seating with the stench of rah rahs hanging over the place, or Henson Park which is only slightly lower quality compared to Balmains 1800's relic, but lets just say they are offensive to my refined need for comfort, stability, back support and large cup size.

Now this is a RL ground. Heartland? You haven't got a decent club RL stadium in the whole city!

thanks for proving my point that when it comes to RL in australia, you just dont have a clue.
you need to learn about the history and evolution of the NSWRL into the ARL and the NRL.
you just have no idea where RL has come from and why it is what it is today.
when RL was the biggest sport in australia by a long way in 1995, it was because of the sydney clubs.
we carried the rest. without us it doesnt work. The SL competition showed that.

| Slightly different I know, but I would go to Headingley or the Jungle any day, rather than the soulless metal boxes found in Wigan and West Hull.
I'd even rather go to Knowsley Road!
I'd love to visit some of these 'suburban stadia' to watch the NRL one day.

| The token pom!
remember the way people when on about Brian Carney? I like the way they glossed over the fact he was worth 12 point per game down his wing because he was hopeless in defense!

Very true.
[size=75But aussies even made him the 2006 Dally M winger of the year. Making a shıt player good enough for the NRL by their expert opinion. Sad.[/size

| Oh make no mistake some people over here go silly for a Pom. I think its driven by the desire to have an English team that actually half decent.
It lead to them over rating the Poms that come here though.
Look at the kid from Leeds thats now playing for the Newtown Jets. he had some people saying how good he was, commentators, and yet the true footy brains knew he was below average and now he is playing park footy even as the Roosters struggle.
Chris Thorman was the same. At first people were like "Wow, he is a good Pommy player" but a few games later he was gone.
Carney was a disaster in defense. In fact the only winger I have seen that was abused more was that American winger the Knights gave a game to that said he played in the NFL.....it was terrible!
Morley had a few good years, and of course for his success all the Poms back home hated his guts. Harvey Howards was ok, nothing special, but he had a long career in the best competition in the world.
Now its another token Poms turn and in a poor Tigers pack, a soft pack, he fits right in.

Thats the bloke.
I dont follow the lower grades because I have better things to do with my life.
The two worst for it are Peter Sterling and Andrew Johns, although I give Joey some room to move because you can just tell he loves the game from a fans point of view (I wish I had a dollar for all the young players he had got a bit too excited over, god love him. Thats right, I love Andrew Johns).
Sterling though, my goodness, every time a Pom is playing in a game he calls I swear you can hear him beating off.

Sterlo was good enough to be asked to play in England when it was much more selective. Sad, bitter people like Phil Gould were not.
One sings its praises, the other doesn't.
Imagine if the seasons were both in Winter again. Would we still see 6 - 12 british players over here every winter, like we used to. I'd think yes. What about you Leaguey?
