| If the MPG is decided either way by a marginal decision, with or without reference to the video referee, do you think that the affected club will mount a legal challenge to get the game replayed?

On what basis? Refs make errors every game. Why should this be any different?

| i think that the million pound game can be described as a horrible watch for the fans of the 2 clubs concerned and a great watch for everyone else if not for the quality but the drama

Jamie Peacock certainly wasn't against it - in fact he said "I think it's good we have some kind of relegation back and some avenue for the clubs that aspire to be in the top league"
www.skysports.com/rugby-league/n ... -structure
Never in his wildest dreams did he think he'd be in a relegation dog fight 2 years later. But as soon as it gets tough, out comes the moaning.

Exactly, and we could have moaned all we want about it but we knew what the deal was before we kicked a ball.
As it is, had there been automatic P&R,we would have gone down anyway, so i suppose we should have been relieved at getting an extra chance.

As i say, had we gone down then i would have accepted it, not moan about it a day or 2 before the event, had you won a few games then you wouldn't be in the MPG, it's simple, we finished bottom but won enough games to avoid it, you didn't.

Ha ha ha how things change! To all the KR fans mouthing off at me - Get on with it stop whinging and enjoy your day out!
You'll either end up crying or relieved. Either way you probably feel pretty sick right now.
Personally both Hudgell and Koukash are total s so I couldn't care less who gets binned off.
Whoever it is though don't expect to go straight back up. To gain promotion you have to be able to compete in the middle 8's. The squad you have this year isn't capable of competing in the middle 8's which means next year you have to improve. That's with less time to sign players, less funding, lower crowds and convincing players to drop down a division. It won't happen prepare for years in the championship.'"
I expected you back I don't think the fans are moaning so much I'm definitely not like I've said before if we go down we deserve to we will have had 2 home games to save ourselves so what will be will be Id worry about your own club if the rumours are true

Given that they aren't true - not really
I'd be more concerned with the mpg than making up stories about other clubs.

Being from Bradford with its relatively broad gene pool means we have the mental capacity to both worry about our own club AND enjoy the jeopardy that HKR and Salford are facing into at the moment. Bear in mind that this potential oblivion is the entire point, ([urlhttp://media.therfl.co.uk/docs/Policy%20Review%20-%20September%202013.pdf[/url) so you best buckle up, stop b1tching, and enjoy the ride!

| I have no ill will to either team.
I think Salford have the right owner at the wrong time, the move to the AJ Bell seems to have been an unmitigated disaster.
The Willows was a fine ground to visit and if Koucash had taken on Salford whilst they were there, he could have probably redeveloped that ground.
But no doubt selling the ground was necessary at the time.
For me Hull KR at the moment have more to offer SL both in the short and long term. I just can't see how Salford will ever be able to grow in their current predicament.

| Conceding a try to a barge-over from a prop on the 5th tackle is a good indication of why Salford are in this game in the first place.

| Blimey, Salford look terrible. Slow and tired after just 10 minutes. No heart at all in defence. At this time, it looks like an easy win for Rovers. Hope the Reds wake up a bit to make a game of it.

agreed.although tired as a ground, I loved the willows, great atmosphere and right in the heart of salford. with MK cash for redevelopment Salford would be in a far better place now imo.

| What's interesting as a neutral is that you can see Salford in particular making the overlaps regularly, but they're incapable of exploiting them because of a lack of both passing and line-running skill in their 3/4s.

| Dobson is running Salfords game well, and creating plenty. But he just doesn't have sufficient quality around him to exploit his work.
