Good player, if the NRL interest is legit i'd be surprised if he doesn't go back. Seems like his head was turned early this year and we've not had his full commitment since.

Don't think it will work like that next season. Expect a Dual Reg with with maybe Huddersfield / Wigan / Saints / Hull KR and then players coming from one club.

I'd still expect us to do loan deals outside a dual reg thing.

We need to be careful going down this path though. Dual reg for championship clubs are notoriously a damp squib with the players the club expect to have available often nowhere to be seen. And season long loans are rarely that as they nearly always contain a recall clause and when the injuries hit at the parent club they are off. We have to make sure we have a big enough squad of players of our own to have enough cover and just have a couple of 'outsiders' to complement to squad.

Can't blame him, he's been hard done to this season. I don't think i'd relish the idea of not even being first choice in a Championship side. Hopefully if we do get a new coach then he may be able to tempt him to stay.

Exactly. I would say 2/3 season long loans would be a great idea for the right players..

We have been closest to Huddersfield in 2023 in terms of relationships but I could imagine if we were to dual ref for a year it would be them or Leeds.

He would be first choice and he has been this season for the most part.

If we want Kershaw to stay then we will have to match what he will be offered elsewhere (should he be).

I really do hope we keep both Croft and Kershaw. We will have to see how it plays out.

Not sure but I think rocks contract runs out at the end of this season.

We already have Jowitt, Lino, Gale signed up for next year in the positions he plays and maybe Dagger as well. I think we’ll spend the money elsewhere.

I had heard that we were interested but Walmsley only wanted a super league club if he was to move from Fax so time will tell on that.
