I’m not a ST holder so not taken much notice of this but what have they done? Just offered to let you watch the games via online - for free - and thanks very much?

Or is there some incentive to not asking for your money back? Haven’t some clubs offered a lower ST next year for not taking a refund? What’ve Wigan offered?

So far Wigan are yet to state what, if anything they are going to offer..sooner or later they are going to have to say something.

With the ever changing landscape of the world and the "will they, won't they" question around fans being allowed back in stadiums it isn't as simple as "would you like a refund?"

What exactly are you wanting the club to say to you to make you happy?

Communication from Wigan has always been poor. I think the lengh of time between Mr Lennigans first email and now has allowed the initial surge of goodwill to subside a little and is in danger of subsiding a lot . I know everything is still up in the air at present but something simple like a weekly newsletter would help keep the ball rolling even if the content is minimal . I'm sure everybody who can help out will but the club don't want to loose the initial surge of goodwill by continued silence.

A weekly newsletter? You mean like regular news stories on something like the club website or daily updates on the club social media channels?

People take refund for season.
Fans allowed back in for last few games but only ST holders.
People that took refund moan they can't go to games.
People that have ST moan they can't sit in their normal seat and ask for refund.

I mean in the form of an email like the the initial letter . A lot of people don't use social media and an email appears to have a more personal touch even though it is just a blanket mail shot . Kidology is a wonderful thing.

Most common word in there is moan. Just another pathetic way to bash IFL. Wigan will make it public what they are doing or offering pretty soon i am sure. With recent events its less likely now we will be attending games this year now i would say. But its all changing so much its hard to call.

Not to mention the Toronto debacle meaning they now need to decide what to do about that game as well.

No not really, however when you pay over £1000 for season tickets you expect a little better from the club. Maybe next year I might just keep the money in my pocket.

So what options would you like to be offered?

Full refund but you can't go to any games?
Partial refund but if they calculate wrong you might not be able to attend any games?
Refund on a game by game basis?
The key to the training ground and a visit from Kris Rads?

Its not what I want that matters, its what the club is willing to do.

From the information I have to hand:

ST based on 14 home games
Most we will play is 11 so refund (or option) needed for 3
Toronto debacle means we only play 10 games so something needed for that game. If they play next season then that game may be FOC meaning ST based on 13 games
Fans possibly allowed back in at some stage. We play 2 games in October and 1 in November that need to be accounted for but we don't know how yet
Some fans will have to move seats. Do we offer them a goodwill gesture to do so?
If every fan asks for a refund how much do we lose?
Can we offer them Wigan TV to watch games not on sky or are all games on sky?
If fans carry over to next season, how much do we lose next season? Are fans even allowed in next season? What if they aren't?
