I think Ashton is an exciting signing, isn't he? You'll no doubt get a few long distance tries next year, he's a player with genuine pace, possibly the quickest in Super League next year? Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends the year a regular starter for Warrington.

As you would expect, the weaker Super League clubs are picking the eyes out of a courageous London Bronco's 2019 roster. It's going to be difficult for London to mount a return to Super League at the end of 2020, given the likely fierce competition from Toulouse and Featherstone. London will need several strong signings soon if it is to compete in 2020, and I don't know where they will come from given the owner's limited budget.

The Broncos have signed Cory Aston (yes the son of challenge cup 98 hero MARK!) And speedster Touyo Egodo from Castleford . Both have played when desperate times have called throughout 2019.

They are good signings. Smart moves by the coach.

However London will need a quality full back to replace Alex Walker, plus at least two big near-NRL quality props (which it didn't have this year), if it is to be a serious contender for a return to Super League at the end of 2020.

I am yet to come across a Cas fan with that position. I have nothing but thanks for his time at Cas; he is 31, a high risk, a year left. We are getting a good fee for him (allegedly) which will allow us to sign a promising young HB & money in the bank.

I wonder where that leaves Callum mclelland as Leeds will have lui and gale , the kid looks great from what I have seen at fev and we (hull kr) was reported to be getting him on a 1 year loan but recently quashed, cas perhaps, looks a cracking prospect.

Well impressed with this young man, from what I have seen of him towards the back end of the season. A very mature player, for his age, with a good all-round game. For me, he was Fev's MOM at Leigh, just about shading Dane Chisholm.

He is just 20 years old first year back in the game, inly played a handfull if open age games. He will be pushing for a first team place next year and will be in the side plenty.

Agreed Alan, and we might well need a couple of halfbacks next season.

It will all become clear when you see who is coming in.
Decent half backs are like rocking horse muck, very hard to come by and although Gale has been out most of the season, he's still one of the top 3/4 halfbacks in SL.

Danny Richardson is joining Cas. I would imagine for a third of his wage and there will be circa 60-80k left over from the sale of Gale.

Richardson and Trueman as a combination does excite me.

I understand and respect his decision to pursue the 3 year deal with Leeds, it makes sense for him, Cas and maybe Leeds, the Leeds part is the big maybe though.
