The game has sown and now it is "reaping the benefits" of its labours.

A game that cannot attract the attention of the mass media except in small soundbites.

A game that hasn't a clue how to market and promote itself.

A game that simply dosn't have a coach and player development system that is worth the paper it is wrtten on.

A game so fragmented and out of control by it's "governing body" that they are being taken for a ride.

A game with a percieved lower international profile probably than darts.

No, they haven't. They might have played the odd game here and there and the occasional tour with gridiron converts now and then but to claim that they have been playing rugby league for 50 years is absurd.

The vast majority of that time had no rugby league at all played on American soil.

There were two clubs early on that lasted one season and Highfield played there briefly aside from that for 95% of those 70 years, there was no rugby league in London.

There is no way a sports controlling body should have been in that position , any decent lawyer could have put clauses into the operational rules to prevent it , bottom line is the RFL didn't want W1g4n to go down , the other SL clubs didn't want W1g4n to go down , Cas were sacrificed , but no doubt helped from there on in

There was no ' loophole ' , it was just that nobody had ever considered that somebody would do it , which considering the London Bronco's situation a couple of seasons earlier is absolutely shocking
