my missus has been fighting it for six years now and she's still with us thanks to the medical advances made since JD lost his loved one.RL ,in the form of SL on Sky with Dame Eddie & Stevo & the rest plus the games she sees live at TO & Perpignan have helped keep her going.Every live game is like a big dose of chemo for her,no kidding !

i should point out btw, that im not being critical of stevo with this thread, i find him amusing for the most part. at least he is enthusiastic. commentators of other sports could learn a thing or two. i just think its amusing to keep a tally of how absurdly often he comes out with his signature phrases.

Stevo is a berk. He consistantly show a lack of understanding of the rules and often seems to see things that don't occur or misses things that do. The expert analyst should teach people like you and I about the finer technicalities of rugby league. The only thing thing I have ever learnt from Stevo is a host of words that he's made up - "You can see the tackler just REEFED the ball out." Its not even a ing word, Stevo! Stop saying it!

Also, has there been a week yet that Eddie hasn't said "That's mana from heaven!"? That seems to be a favourite this season.

I honestly think he has to buy eddie a pint everytime he actually says the word and he is a tight git!

What made me laugh the other night was Eddie saying that wigan were taking a 'quick tap', when they'd already had one go at it and been brought back by the ref



I'm fed up of people being 'deemed', commentary using the future tense for something that's actually happened; hearing how Stevo can read minds "X realises...", his musings as to when a side are going to "confuse" the defence, send out (very confusing) messages, or just 'come on'. Overall though I find them very irritating!
